Pakistan BLASTS India for ‘Deliberately Killing Citizens’ as Tensions Spike

  • Pakistan BLASTS India for ‘Deliberately Killing Citizens’ as Tensions Spike
    by JOSEPH CAREY, https://www.express.co.uk/
PAKISTAN has blasted India for “deliberately targeting citizens” as tensions along the contested border known as the Line of Control (LoC) surged and ceasefire violations were condemned, it has emerged.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry blamed the Indian Deputy High Commissioner Shri J.P. Singh for the “unprovoked violations” in a statement. It read: “The Director General, Dr Mohammad Faisal, summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner Mr J.P. Singh today and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control on 27 February 2018 in the Nikial Sector resulting in the Shahadat (martyrdom) of a 13-year-old boy.”

The ministry claimed that India was behind 400 violations this year alone along the LoC and Working Boundary that separates the two South Asian nations. It added that 18 citizens have been killed and 68 have been injured due to attacks across the border.

Pakistan & India Could Have Over 100 Nuclear Weapons Each

  • Pakistan & India Could Have Over 100 Nuclear Weapons Each
    by Kyle Mizokami, http://nationalinterest.org/
Sandwiched between Iran, China, India and Afghanistan, Pakistan lives in a complicated neighborhood with a variety of security issues. One of the nine known states known to have nuclear weapons, Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal and doctrine are continually evolving to match perceived threats. A nuclear power for decades, Pakistan is now attempting to construct a nuclear triad of its own, making its nuclear arsenal resilient and capable of devastating retaliatory strikes.

Pakistan’s nuclear program goes back to the 1950s, during the early days of its rivalry with India. President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto famously said in 1965, “If India builds the bomb, we will eat grass or leaves, even go hungry, but we will get one of our own.”

The program became a higher priority after the country’s 1971 defeat at the hands of India, which caused East Pakistan to break away and become Bangladesh. Experts believe the humiliating loss of territory, much more than reports that India was pursuing nuclear weapons, accelerated the Pakistani nuclear program. India tested its first bomb, codenamed “Smiling Buddha,” in May 1974, putting the subcontinent on the road to nuclearization.

India, Pakistan Trade Heavy Fire on LoC

  • India, Pakistan Trade Heavy Fire on LoC
    by https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/, 27 Feb 2018
JAMMU: Heavy firing exchanges started on Tuesday between Indian and Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch and Rajouri districts, according to the defence ministry.

The Pakistani Army targeted defence and civilian facilities in Poonch’s Bhimber Gali sector and in Rajouri’s Balakote, Manjakote, Lambi Bari and Naika Panjgrian areas, ministry sources said.

“Pakistan firing started at around 8.45 a.m. The Pakistani troops used small arms, automatics and mortars. Our positions effectively and strongly retaliated,” they added.

On Monday, a top army officer said that the increasing ceasefire violations by Pakistan are aimed at pushing more militants into the Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC).

Speaking to the media, lieutenant general A K Bhatt, commander of army’s Srinagar headquartered 15 Corps said: “We have inputs that many infiltrators are waiting at the launching pads. We think infiltration will start sooner this year (2018) because of less snow.”

57 Days, 400 Truce Violations: Pakistan Leaves Kashmir Reeling

  • This article is an Indian perspective of the situation. I am neither pro Pakistan nor India. Both countries are under the control of the Anglo-American western Illuminati. Their nuclear arsenal are under the control of the CIA. The western Illuminati is setting up both countries for nuclear WW3 in south Asia. The serpents need to ignite WW3 to usher in their Man of Sin, bringer of false peace and World Government.
  • 57 Days, 400 Truce Violations: Pakistan Leaves Kashmir Reeling
    by https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/
NEW DELHI: The line of control in Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan remains extremely volatile, with ceasefire violations (CFVs) already jumping to over 400 in the first two months of this year. Apart from civilians, Pakistan has lost 23 soldiers in the firing duels+ , while the tally for India is 16 till now.

If this trend continues-and it has shown no signs of ebbing as yet-then 2018 is likely to record the highest number of CFVs along the LoC in 15 years since the ceasefire along the 198-km international border in J&K, the 778-km line of control and the 110-km actual ground position line in Siachen came into force as a confidence-building measure between the two countries on November 26, 2003.

The step-up in cross-border hostilities, which saw as many as 860 CFVs along the LoC and another 120 along the international border in 2017, began soon after Indian Para-Special Forces conducted the “surgical strikes” against terror launch pads in four different locations in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir to avenge the killing of 19 Indian soldiers in a suicide attack at the Army camp in Uri in September 2016.

As part of its policy to “pro-actively dominate” the 778-km LoC through punitive fire assaults and guerilla operations+ , the Indian Army has destroyed several Pak Army posts in areas like Balnoi, Mendhar, Kalal, Keran, Doda, Sarla, Laleali and Banwat over the last four to five months, as reported by TOI earlier.

“The Pak Army posts aiding and abetting infiltration are being targeted. As per assessments, there are almost 400 terrorists in and around launch pads, both south and north of the Pir Panjal range, waiting to infiltrate into J&K,” said an officer.

With even 105mm light field guns, heavy 120mm mortars and anti-tank guided missiles being regularly used by both sides over the last few months, the latest bout of heavy shelling took place in and around the Uri sector last week.

World War 3: Pakistan Promises to ‘TAKE REVENGE’ for Devastating India Border Attack

  • World War 3: Pakistan Promises to ‘TAKE REVENGE’ for Devastating India Border Attack
    by JOSEPH CAREY, https://www.express.co.uk/
PAKISTAN has promised to take revenge for a devastating attack from India along the contested border known as the Line of Control (LoC) as tensions between the two South Asian nations flare, a retired soldier has claimed.

Fayaz Ahmad stated that announcements were made over loudspeakers on the Pakistan side of Balakote that have declared acts of “retaliation” will take place. Mr Ahmad stated: “They said that India has killed many of our soldiers, we will take revenge for it after we bury our dead today. People are advised to take safety precautions.”

Another resident in the region, Naseer Ahmad, spoke of “bombs exploding” and bullets being fired in the midst of heavy shelling. He declared: “All one could hear was the sound of bullets hitting tin or bombs exploding.

“The firing continued from morning till evening. We could see smoke from the hills around us. “We are stressed. We don’t know what will happen when it will stop.”

Both sides have been engaged in violations to the ceasefire that is supposed to be in agreement along the contested border. On Sunday New Delhi said that Pakistan had been “punished” for its “misadventure”, according to Brigadier Y.S Ahlawat of the Indian Army.

  • What Accounts for Pakistan’s Troop Deployment to Saudi Arabia?
    by http://www.presstv.com/
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have historically had close military partnership in the Middle East, and Islamabad has recently announced that it is sending troops to the oil-rich kingdom on a “training and advice mission,” without specifying the exact role the soldiers will play there.

Pakistan Army announced the deployment decision after a meeting between Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed al-Maliki at the army headquarters in the eastern Pakistani city of Rawalpindi on February 15.

It came after General Bajwa paid a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia earlier this month and met with high-profile officials, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Commander of Ground Forces Lieutenant General Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz.

It was reportedly the Pakistani commander’s second trip to Saudi Arabia in two months, which apparently played a role in the Pakistani Army’s decision to deploy soldiers to Saudi Arabia.

There are already 1,379 Pakistani servicemen deployed in Saudi Arabia, most of whom are from Pakistan Army, along with a few Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN) officials, according to security sources.

This is while no official word on the number of additional Pakistan troops being sent to the kingdom has been released. The fresh deployment is said to be slightly over 1,000 soldiers.

The development is notable because Saudi Arabia has been pushing Pakistan to provide ships, aircraft and troops since 2015 for its devastating military campaign against Yemen.

World War 3: India and Pakistan Leaders Issued with ‘PLEA’ to Halt ESCALATING VIOLENCE

  • World War 3: India and Pakistan Leaders Issued with ‘PLEA’ to Halt ESCALATING VIOLENCE
    by JOSEPH CAREY, https://www.express.co.uk/
THE LEADERS of both India and Pakistan have been issued with a letter from civil society groups in the two Kashmirs that have come together to request both nations adhere to the ceasefire around the contested border, it has emerged.

In a letter addressed to both Narendra Modi and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan respectively, the letter urged the use of dialogue to prevent conflict that could lead to World War 3.

It told the two figures to “resume ceasefire on borders and begin the process of dialogue to resolve the Kashmir issue by including all the people of Jammu and Kashmir”. The letter urging to halt violence between the two nations comes at a time when ceasefire violations rose to 881 on the borders in 2017. The horrifying figure marks a 230 per cent increase compared with 2016 – it is also the highest count in over 10 years.

India: Pakistan Will Pay for Border Attack

  • PressTV Published on Feb 12, 2018
Tension is rising once again between India and Pakistan. New Delhi is warning that Islamabad will pay a price for the death of several people along their border. The warning comes after nine people including five soldiers were shot dead by militants in an attack on an Indian army camp in the disputed region of Kashmir. India’s Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has accused Pakistan of supporting what she described as terrorists who came from the other side of the border. Sitha-raman added that Pakistan is expanding acts of terror and violates the ceasefire along the border. Pakistan earlier warned its neighbor against any cross-border strikes. Islamabad also rejected accusations by New Delhi, saying it’s irresponsible to blame others before any investigation is launched.

The Debate: Pakistan Condemns ‘Unilateral’ U.S. Drone Strike Inside Its Territory

  • PressTV News Videos Published on Jan 25, 2018
“Pakistan will not allow any breach of its airspace or sovereignty.” That was Pakistan’s response to a US drone strike that killed 2 Haqqani-network militants. Pakistan condemned the unilateral action, while in the past it has turned a blind eye to & even helped such attacks. This, though, is a time of heightened tensions with America, which accuses Pakistan of harboring terrorists. Is the US deflecting blame for its failures in Afghanistan? Is it pressured by Afghanistan & India into holding Pakistan accountable for harboring those who threaten their security? Join me, Waqar Rizvi, as we discuss that & more tonight.

Along the 786 km-long Line of Control (LoC) which divides the State of Jammu Kashmir between India and Pakistan, sporadic cross-border military gunfire between both countries is not that unusual.

However, this weekend, in the region of Noushera, Rajouri and Akhnoor sectors of Jammu and Kashmir, more than 40,000 Indians have fled their homes and shops amid the fourth consecutive day of intense shelling from Pakistani military forces, the Economic Times reports.
