WMD Lies Strike Again: The Skripal Incident

  • WMD Lies Strike Again: The Skripal Incident
    by Tony Cartalucci,
As the West rallies around recent allegations by the UK against Russia regarding the alleged poisoning of former Russian military intelligence officer-turned British spy – Sergei Skripal – it is crucial to point out the alarming lack of actual evidence involved.

It is also important to point out the history of the accusers predicating entire wars on allegations now confirmed to have been intentional lies.

    The Skripal Incident
The alleged poisoning of Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, UK on March 4 led to a lighting-fast escalation with Russia. Not even two weeks after the attack, UK Prime Minister Theresa May declared a deadline for Russia to provide an “explanation” for the incident the UK had squarely blamed on Moscow.

The Kremlin’s explanation was simple – it had nothing to do with the attack. Russia also offered to aid in the investigation, requesting samples of the poison used in the alleged attack.

However, the UK failed to produce any samples of the alleged poison – a Soviet-era nerve agent known as Novichok – either to the Russians to examine or to relevant international organizations as required under the Chemical Weapons Convention.

The UK also failed to explain why Russia would have carried out such an attack – or how the UK could have confirmed the use of Novichok agents without first possessing samples of the agents themselves. If the UK possessed Novichok agents to compare samples taken from the attack with, the entire rationale of accusing Russia because it is supposedly the only nation in possession of the agents is revealed as entirely false.

    US, UK Certainly Have “Novichoks”
The Daily Beast in its article, “Soviet Scientist Who Developed Novichok Poison Used on Sergei Skripal: ‘I’m Sorry’,” would admit:

For the prime minister to be able to publicly accuse the Russians of using a nerve agent like a novichok, British authorities at least must have had access to novichok’s unique chemical signature—which it legally could have had despite the Chemical Weapons Convention, due to the clause of countries being able to hold samples for testing in these incidences.

Testing for novichoks, even based on a formula published by Mirzayanov in a memoir based on his work in the 1980s, is a potential sign that the British have potential access to newer variants of the nerve agent.

The Guardian too would admit in an article titled, “Novichok nerve agents – what are they?,” that:

The fact that so little is known about the novichoks may explain why Porton Down scientists took several days to identify the compound used in the attack against the Skripals. And while the agents were invented in the Soviet Union, other labs with access to the chemical structures would be able to manufacture them too.

The fact that the alleged creator of Novichok agents – Vil Mirzayanov – fled to and currently lives in the United States suggests the West has both knowledge of and the means to create Novichok agents themselves.

The UK’s presumption that “only Russia” could have produced the agents when the creator of Novichok lives in the United States – and British labs clearly have access to the poison – is at face value contradictory and dishonest.

Queen Elizabeth II Has A WW3 Speech Written And Is Ready To Deliver

  • Queen Elizabeth II Has A WW3 Speech Written And Is Ready To Deliver
by Mac Slavo, March 15th, 2018,
The Queen of England has a pre-written speech prepared for the outbreak of World War 3.  As tensions between Russia and the United Kingdom continue to flare, the Queen’s speech is sparking fears of a nuclear war.

An Austrailian news source, News.Com.Au, reported that some people already fear a nuclear war is more likely that during the Cold War era. The speech was prepared for her back in the 1980s. It was originally revealed in 2013, but no one paid much attention until now. The address was written in the event nuclear war does occur, and she needs to address the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

The speech was released by the government under the 30-year rule, and is reflective of the time it was written, with a “planned” broadcast date of March 4, 1983. It was drawn up as part of a wargaming exercise.  The script for a hypothetical broadcast has the monarch describing the threat to the “brave country” as “greater” than any other in history. It also mentions the Queen’s son Prince Andrew, then in the Royal Navy. The speech, devised by Whitehall officials at one of the most fraught Cold War periods, was never recorded.

Although it was only a simulation, the text of the Queen’s address (written as if broadcast at midday on Friday 4 March 1983) seeks to prepare the country for the ordeal of World War III. According to the BBC, it starts off by referring to the Queen’s traditional Christmas address:

“Fake News” and World War III. The Danger of Nuclear Annihilation

  • “Fake News” and World War III. The Danger of Nuclear Annihilation
    by Prof Michel Chossudovsky,
This text presents an assessment which is “censored” by the search engines. Kindly consider forwarding it to your friends and colleagues as well as cross posting it on alternative media and blog sites.

The threat of World War III is real, yet there is no anti-war movement in sight.  In the US, Canada and the EU, the peace movement is defunct, ignorant of the broader implications of nuclear war. This is why, dear readers we call upon your support. Establish community networks, spread the word, organize at the grassroots level.
We are at a dangerous crossroads in our history.
The dangers of a Third World War are routinely obfuscated by the media. A world of fantasy permeates the mainstream media which tacitly upholds the conduct of nuclear war as a peace-making endeavor.

    World War III is terminal.
Albert Einstein understood the perils of nuclear war and the extinction of life on earth, which has already started with the radioactive contamination resulting from depleted uranium, not to mention Fukushima.

“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

The media, the intellectuals, the scientists and the politicians, in chorus, obfuscate the untold truth, namely that war using nuclear warheads destroys humanity.

“Fake News” has become “Real News”.
And “Real News” by the independent online media is now tagged as Russian propaganda. In turn, the independent media (including Global Research) is the object of censorship via the search engines and social media. What we are dealing with is a War against the Truth. Objective reporting on the dangers of a Third World war is being suppressed. Why? The future of humanity is at stake. The danger of nuclear annihilation is not front-page news.

The unfolding consensus among Pentagon war planners is that a Third World War is “Winnable”.
Nuclear War as an “Instrument of Peace”

Concepts are turned upside down. Political insanity prevails.
A diabolical discourse is unfolding.  The so-called “more usable” tactical nuclear weapons (B61-11, B61-12) with an explosive capacity between one third and twelve times a Hiroshima bomb are heralded (by scientific opinion on contract to the Pentagon) as “peace-making” bombs, “harmless to the surrounding civilian population because the explosion is underground”.

These are the weapons which are contemplated for use against North Korea (or Iran) in what is described by the Pentagon as “a bloody nose operation”, with limited civilian casualties. And the corporate media applauds.

    Fake News
: these nuclear bombs are WMD. The “Bloody Nose” (“safe for civilians”) Concept is “Fake News”

Lest we forget, when the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima (see image below), 100,000 people died within the first seven seconds following the explosion. Needless to say, today’s nuclear weapons are far more advanced than those dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945.

The Neocon Full Court Press For War is Here

  • The Neocon Full Court Press For War is Here
    by TOM LUONGO,
The events of the past two weeks have been stunning.   Since Russian President Vladimir Putin unveiled new ‘doomsday’ weapon systems at his State of the Union address, the West has gone completely bonkers.

In the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, ““I simply don’t have any normal terms left to describe all this,”

With the U.K. expelling Russian diplomats over the poisoning of former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury last week, the push to isolate Russia and create conditions for a World War is here.

The questions are Who is behind this?  And Why?
Theresa May’s response is a joke.  This is a woman who can’t stand up to EU shakedown artists over the mildest of disagreements in Brexit talks but can grandstand to high heaven over an incident with no evidence of Russian action.

This situation is straight out of the neoconservative play book, creating a horrific incident and rushing a government into a confrontation and major policy decision. And these are happening all over the world right now.

    Covering Fire
If you look at the circumstances of Skripal’s associations in light of the collapsing Russia-Gate story in the U.S., the Who?  becomes obvious.  As Moon of Alabama first pointed out, Skripal was an associate of both Pablo Miller and Christopher Steele, both former MI-6 agents working for Orbis Business Intelligence.

What motive would the Russians have for taking out Skripal in such a sloppy manner on the eve of Presidential elections? They wouldn’t.  In the same way that the Assad government had everything to lose last April over the chemical weapons attack at Khan Sheikoun, Russia has nothing to gain by killing Skripal and his daughter today.

But, if Skripal was in the position to corroborate the worst fears about the Dossier, then it makes sense to ties up loose ends. This is a false flag.  It’s far more plausible than the drivel Theresa May peddled to Parliament. Anyone with three brain cells to rub together knows this in their heart of hearts.  So, why play coy?

France, Germany, US, UK say Salisbury Incident a Violation of UK’s Territorial Integrity by Russia

  • France, Germany, US, UK say Salisbury Incident a Violation of UK’s Territorial Integrity by Russia
A joint statement by the UK, US, France and Germany says the poisoning of ex-double agent Sergei Skripal was a violation of Britain’s sovereignty by Russia and was the first offensive use of a chemical agent since World War II.

The incident, in which Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned in Salisbury on March 4, involved “a military-grade nerve agent, of a type developed by Russia,” said the statement issued on Thursday. The four countries said the incident constituted “the first offensive use of a nerve agent in Europe since the Second World War.”

The document branded the incident “an assault on UK sovereignty,” adding it came in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and international law. Washington, Paris and Berlin back the UK’s claim that Moscow was responsible for what they called “the attack.”

Russia should provide “full and complete disclosure”of Novichok – the nerve agent allegedly used to poison the Skripals – to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the statement urged.

Though France was one of the signatories to the statement, a spokesman for President Emmanuel Macron’s suggested earlier on Thursday that British Prime Minister Theresa May was prematurely accusing Russia of complicity in the incident. “We don’t do fantasy politics. Once the elements are proven then the time will come for decisions to be made,” Benjamin Griveaux told a news conference in Paris.

Also on Thursday, Moscow said that it had urged the UK to hand over samples of the chemical to the OPCW and relevant Russian authorities, but to no avail. Commenting on the row, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Britain of refusing to share any evidence in the case, while making “insane” accusations.

White House Blames Russia For “Abhorrent” Attack, As Haley Warns Of Russian Chemical Weapons In New York

  • White House Blames Russia For “Abhorrent” Attack, As Haley Warns Of Russian Chemical Weapons In New York
    by Tyler Durden,
In its most pointed criticism of Russia to date, on Wednesday the White House said in a statement that it agreed with the British government’s assessment that Russia was responsible for the poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter in the United Kingdom.

“The United States shares the United Kingdom’s assessment that Russia is responsible for the reckless nerve agent attack on a British citizen and his daughter, and we support the United Kingdom’s decision to expel Russian diplomats as a just response,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in the statement.

“This latest action by Russia fits into a pattern of behavior in which Russia disregards the international rules-based order, undermines the sovereignty and security of countries worldwide, and attempts to subvert and discredit Western democratic institutions and processes. The United States is working together with our allies and partners to ensure that this kind of abhorrent attack does not happen again.”

Macron Eyes Expanding His Movement Across Europe

Macron ‘crown’ with an inverted Pentagram. French President Emmanuel Macron delivers a speech to set out plans for reforming the European Union at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, September 26, 2017. REUTERS/Ludovic Marin/Pool

  • Macron Eyes Expanding His Movement Across Europe
    by  and ,
French President Emmanuel Macron launched a brand new political movement in his bid for the French presidency. Now, he wants to do the same for Europe. But the Brussels establishment is wary.

In just a few weeks, French President Emmanuel Macron is slated to speak to members of European Parliament in Strasbourg. Already, though, leading MEPs are getting their responses ready. Philippe Lamberts, for example, floor leader for the Green Party, intends to excoriate what he sees as Macron’s cold-hearted approach to those in need — despite the French president’s devotion to improving the European Union. Floor leaders from the center-right European People’s Party (EPP) and the European United Left will also be taking the floor following Macron’s speech in April — and they, too, won’t be exclusively complimentary.

Indeed, it has already become clear that the French president’s first appearance in front of the European Parliament will be anything but a cakewalk. The man who saved Europe from Marine Le Pen must now prepare himself for a frosty reception in Strasbourg. But Macron shouldn’t be surprised: After all, the French president has said he intends to continue in Europe what he has started in France: destroying the traditional parties on the center-left and center-right and replacing them with a new centrist movement. “I will not leave those major European parties a monopoly on the debate about Europe and the European elections!” he said in his Sorbonne speech last September.

And now, politicians in Brussels know that he meant what he said, and that he is serious about challenging them and the established party structure. Macron wants to fundamentally change how politics is practiced in Brussels, and he wants to do so to his own advantage. But while Macron may be the leading voice on European reform at the moment, he lacks troops in Brussels. His En Marche! movement currently doesn’t have a single delegate in the European Parliament and he also lacks a representative on the European Commission, with the French commissioner, Pierre Moscovici, coming from the Socialist Party.

Macron isn’t just interested in having the largest possible parliamentary group with En Marche! and allied parties following 2019 European Parliament elections. The French president is particularly focused on increasing his own influence to the point that he can be a major voice in determining the future EU leadership, including the Commission president, the European Council president and the head of the European Central Bank (ECB).

Ukraine Gets Official NATO Status: Weighing Up the Pros and Cons

  • Ukraine Gets Official NATO Status: Weighing Up the Pros and Cons
NATO has granted Ukraine the status of an aspirant country. Macedonia, Georgia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina have similar status. This means Kiev has been offered a real chance to make its dreams come true. The next step will be obtaining its Membership Action Plan (MAP), a set of criteria to meet before the country is allowed to join. It is tailored to each applicant country’s individual profile. This type of plan can be granted at any time; there is no need to wait for summits or ministry-level meetings. Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are aspirants with a MAP.

Last summer, Ukraine’s parliament (Rada) adopted a resolution recognizing full membership in NATO as a foreign policy goal. In 2008, NATO agreed that Ukraine and Georgia should become members at a future date.

The Swiss newspaper Le Temps recently reported that hundreds of US and Canadian military instructors have been training Ukrainian personnel at the Yavorov firing range since 2015. Not long ago they were joined by British and Lithuanian trainers. Roughly 6,000 Ukrainian servicemen have undergone training there in order to expedite the process of meeting the requirements set by NATO. The US Navy operates a facility in Ochakov. This month, the State Department approved the possible sale of Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine. The announcement preceded a statement made by Kurt Volker, the US special envoy to Ukraine, in which he offered to disband the self-proclaimed republics in eastern Ukraine.

This is all part of a broader picture. On March 2, Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia announced the formation of an alliance to counter Russia. Chisinau is to cozy up as close to NATO as it can. The Moldovan government has announced its decision to buy lethal weapons from countries in that alliance. The US Navy operates a facility at the Bulboaca training base.

The calls for Georgia’s membership are getting louder in the US. Tbilisi’s NATO bid has been openly supported by the Trump administration. It has been reported recently that Georgia is to adopt a fast-track approach that will expedite its entrance into NATO. This policy has been recommended by the Heritage Foundation think tank. Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, has said that nothing stands in the way of Georgia joining the bloc.

This move is clearly intended to provoke Russia. Official status in the alliance is one step on the way to membership. If the policy goal is expansion at any cost, then that’s a step in the right direction. But will it benefit NATO? Make it stronger? Hardly.

US Afraid of Europe Consuming More Russian Gas, Considered Strategic Threat – German MP

  • RT Published on Mar 12, 2018
Nord Stream 2, the gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, is in jeopardy due to strong opposition from Eastern Europe and the US. Will the project survive? We ask the energy speaker of the Christian Democratic Union party in the German Bundestag, Joachim Pfeiffer.

European nations, especially former Soviet blocs, will not be anti Russian as long as they are the benefactors of Russian energy resources.

The real reason for Ukraine war is to prevent the economic and geo-political integration of Russia and Europe.

European Commissioner Demands URGENT Financial Integration to Support EU After Brexit

  • European Commissioner Demands URGENT Financial Integration to Support EU After Brexit
EUROPEAN Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis has urged European Union member states to accelerate the effort for more financial integration in order to protect the institution after Brexit.

The EU Financial Stability Commissioner called on the remaining 27 member states to increase efforts to integrate a single market for capital before  becomes official.

Brussels is seeking to boost investment flows with the creation of a capital markets union that would eliminate barriers to fund sales and harmonise rules on cross-border transactions. Former Latvian Prime Minister Mr Dombrovskis said: “We need to accelerate the implementation of the capital markets union so European consumers, investors and companies can benefit from deeper and more integrated capital markets.

“This is all the more urgent because Europe’s largest financial centre is on the verge of leaving the single market. By the time Brexit happens, the preconditions for a true single market for capital need to be in place.”

Pan-European Bank to ENRAGE Italy, Germany & France: Nations FORCED to Rescue Failing Banks

  • Pan-European Bank to ENRAGE Italy, Germany & France: Nations FORCED to Rescue Failing Banks
BRUSSELS chiefs are piling pressure on EU members to back plans for a banking union, which will see nations forced to cover bank failures anywhere in the bloc, as it ramps up efforts to reform the Union.

The European Commission wants to plough ahead with the creation of a bloc-wide banking union, which was first proposed in 2012 by the end of 2018, in a bid to prevent a repeat of the 2008/09 financial crisis.

But the plans have repeatedly stalled as neither the EU Council, member states nor the European Parliament have managed to reach an agreement despite two years of talks. Germany and Denmark are thought to be tough critics of the controverisal plans to reform the eurozone. EU commission vice-president Valdis Dombrovski is keen to push the debate in a bid to build momentum for reforms to the currency bloc in the next coming months.

However he is set to face strong resistance from Germany, whose banking lobby are opposed to taking on responsibility for non-performing loans held by financial institutions in other countries. The bloc’s largest economy is demanding clarity on risk sharing and risk reduction.

Angela Merkel’s Germany warns that sharing risk means German banks will inevitably end up supporting weaker banks elsewhere in the bloc. The European Commission late last year offered a watered-down plan to decrease risks in the banking sector, in a bid to break years of stalemate over the plan that was fiercely opposed by Germany’s former finance minister, Wolfgang Schaeuble.

But with Mr Schaeuble gone after an election in September that weakened Mrs Merkel’s conservatives, new momentum for eurozone reforms is building, especially as the German chancellor ploughs ahead with her coalition with the anti-austerity Social Democrats (SPD).

Bigger Threat Than BREXIT: Italy’s Populist Drive to Quit the Eurozone Would DEVASTATE EU

  • Bigger Threat Than BREXIT: Italy’s Populist Drive to Quit the Eurozone Would DEVASTATE EU
ITALY leaving the European Union and the Eurozone would be a “disaster” for the bloc from both a political and economic perspective, as it could lead to a turmoil in the financial markets and the departure of more countries, experts have claimed.

The shocking outcome of the election that took place in Italy last Sunday has paved the way for populist parties Lega and Five Star Movement, which together gathered more than 50 per cent of the votes. Both the forces are eurosceptic and have in the past promoted the idea of pushing Italy outside of the EU and the eurozone.

Experts claim the possibility of a so-called Italexit would be devastating for the EU, which would see a second country leaving its borders in less than two years. Lorenzo Codogno, former general director at the Treasury Department of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, thinks Italy exiting the European Union would lead to a “storm in the markets”.

He said: “Italy is a big country, the third-largest national economy in the eurozone and one of the six founding members of the bloc. “If it left the Union, there would be a storm in the markets, Italy would suffer but Europe would also be hugely affected. “Italexit would be something very difficult to manage for the EU, so the bloc would do anything to make the country remain.”

Market analyst and CEO at Explain The Market Guy Shone thinks that Italexit would highlight the divisions within the EU, although he sees an exit of Italy too dangerous for a country with such a fragile banking system.

He said: “If Italexit were to happen, I think it would be reasonable to imply that the EU in its current form would be under threat and would be failing to prove its essentiality.” Leaving the eurozone would be even more difficult than the process undertaken by the UK of leaving the European Union.

‘No Time’ Merkel and Macron POSTPONE Eurozone Reform Plans Amid Backlash from EU Nations

  • Only one move left for Merkron to implement their United States of Europe: Collapse the EU and allow all those who oppose the plan to leave. The endtimes 10 Horn Beast Empire, Revived Roman Empire will appear.
  • ‘No Time’ Merkel and Macron POSTPONE Eurozone Reform Plans Amid Backlash from EU Nations
ANGELA Merkel and Emmanuel Macron have postponed plans for a radically reformed eurozone because the French and German leaders had no time, insiders have claimed.

The German Chancellor and French President had vowed to dramatically reform the 19-nation monetary union by introducing a joint eurozone budget. However insiders have claimed that Ms Merkel and Mr Macron have been cancelled the joint plans which were due to be announced this March at the EU Summit.

An EU official told Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine: “The matter has been cancelled. There is simply nothing to announce.” German representatives also told the magazine that Ms Merkel’s government had no time to deal with the future of the eurozone during the coalition negotiations.

A spokesman for the federal government said that work on reform plans would be “intensified in close partnership with France” after the formation of the new government. Ms Merkel and Mr Macron had promised in December last year to present joint plans for a Eurozone reform in March.

In particular, the French President wants to comprehensively reform the monetary union and a budget for the euro area as well as the introduction of a new euro zone finance minister.

The news comes after Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and the Netherlands all poured cold water on the ambitious plans last week.
