Saudis Threaten Canada with 9/11 – Style Attack

  • PressTV Published on Aug 7, 2018
A Saudi twitter account has posted a message that apparently threatens Canada with a 9/11-style attack. Saudi Arabia is angry at Ottawa’s demand for the release of jailed activists in the Arab kingdom. The Saudi tweet warned Canada against interfering in issues not related to the western country. The account that had posted the tweet quickly removed it and made an apology. The Saudis have already expelled Canada’s envoy. Riyadh has also recalled its ambassador to Ottawa. Canada says it will not be intimidated into silence when it comes to human rights.

  • PressTV Published on Jul 5, 2018
US President Donald Trump is possibly planning to destroy the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union, says a former US Senate policy adviser and diplomat. James Jatras, who is a specialist in international relations and legislative politics in Washington, DC, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Wednesday while commenting on a statement of Trump. Trump said on Wednesday that the European Union is “possibly as bad as China” on trade, as possible trade wars loom with both the Asian giant as well as longtime allies in Europe and Canada.

In the 1950s and 60s, a Montreal hospital subjected psychiatric patients to electroshocks, drug-induced sleep and huge doses of LSD. Families are still grappling with the effects

    S
arah Anne Johnson had always known the broad strokes of her maternal grandmother’s story. In 1956, Velma Orlikow checked herself into a renowned Canadian psychiatric hospital, the Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal, hoping for help with postpartum depression. She was in and out of the clinic for three years, but instead of improving, her condition deteriorated – and her personality underwent jarring changes.

More than two decades passed before Johnson and her family had an explanation, and it was much stranger than any of them could imagine: in 1977 it emerged that the CIA had been funding experiments in mind-control brainwashing at the institute as part of a North America-wide project known as MK Ultra.

At the time, the US agency was scrambling to deepen its understanding of brainwashing, after a handful of Americans captured during the Korean war had publicly praised communism and denounced the US.

In 1957, this interest brought the agency north of the border, where a Scottish-born psychiatrist, Ewen Cameron, was trying to discover whether doctors could erase a person’s mind and instill new patterns of behaviour. Orlikow was one of several hundred patients who became unwitting subjects of these experiments in Montreal in the late 1950s and early 60s.

‘There’s a Special Place in Hell’ for Trudeau for Backstabbing Trump, White House Trade Adviser Says

  • ‘There’s a Special Place in Hell’ for Trudeau for Backstabbing Trump, White House Trade Adviser Says
    by https://www.rt.com/
It’s open season on Justin Trudeau in the Trump administration, with the White House trade council chief launching an attack on the Canadian PM, saying there is a “special place in hell” for anyone who double-crosses his boss.

Director of the White House National Trade Council Peter Navarro preached against the Canadian Prime Minister during an interview with Fox News Sunday when asked whether US President Donald Trump’s very personal attack on Trudeau was warranted, given that Canada is the second biggest trading partner of the US.

Navarro, who was introduced as the “architect” behind Trump’s plan to slap Canada, Mexico and the EU with tariffs on steel and aluminum, did not hold back his fury, turning the heat up even higher.

“There’s a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad faith diplomacy with President Donald J. Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out the door,” Navarro said, echoing the words of Trump’s chief economic adviser Larry Kudlow.

Kudlow faced a massive backlash on social media earlier on Sunday after he accused Trudeau of “stabbing the US in the back” with his promise to retaliate against US tariffs at the final presser. Navarro, who said his words reflect the general sentiment on Air Force One, where Trump launched his Twitter rant against Trudeau, argued that the Canadian PM acted in “bad faith” with his “stunt press conference.”

    by https://sputniknews.com/
The marks the French President left on the US President after gripping his hand, went viral. The gripping presidential rivalry between Trump and Macron started last year in July during Donald Trump’s visit to Paris, which gave the social media users something to bite into with an unusual 29 second-long handshake.

La Malbaie, Canada, where the G7 Summit took place on June 8-9, has become the site for not only heated political debates and a showdown over the trade war and the Iran deal, but for a rivalry between two of the world’s readers. Posing for photos in front of numerous cameras, French President Emmanuel Macron, 40, and US leader Donald Trump, 71, has generated a proper Twitter storm with their handshake, which went slightly beyond the usual diplomatic courtesy. Canada to Impose Retaliatory Tariffs on US

  • PressTV Published on Jun 10, 2018
The Canadian prime minister says he warned US President Donald Trump that his country will go ahead with imposing retaliatory tariffs on US goods. Justin Trudeau said Canada will not be pushed around by Washington. He called Trump’s decision to invoke national security concern to impose tariffs on aluminum and steel as insulting. Trudeau was speaking after a two-day meeting of the Group of Seven industrialized nations. Trump and six other heads of state who attended the meeting in Canada failed to find a common ground over their trade disputes. However, the G-7 leaders agreed in their concluding communiqué on the need for free, fair and mutually beneficial trade. They also highlighted the importance of fighting protectionism. Meanwhile, anti-G-7 protesters have held a rally in the city of Quebec.

Trump Says Russia Should Be Back In The G7; Italy Backs Trump

    * CONTE: RUSSIA’S G8 READMISSION WOULD BE IN EVERYBODY’S INTEREST

And when Germany and France, which have already been making moves to get back in Putin’s good graces, join, there will suddenly be a majority for the pro-Russian front.
    * * *
On his way to what may be the most entertaining and confrontational G7 meeting in history later today in Toronto, president Trump made sure that the animosity with which he is met by the rest of the world leaders was cranked up to the max, when he told reporters this morning that Russia should be attending a Group of Seven nations meeting.

“It used to be the G-8 because Russia was in it and now Russia’s not in it. Now, I love our country, I have been Russia’s worst nightmare. I think Putin is probably going “man I wish Hillary won” cause you see what I do, but with that said, Russia should be in this meeting. Why are we having a meeting without Russia being in the meeting. And I would recommend that Russia should be in the meeting.

Whether you like it or not, and it may not be politically correct, we have a world to run and in the G-7, which used to be the G-8, they threw Russia out they should let Russia come back in cause we should have Russia at the negotiating table.”

France’s Macron Seeks to Forge European Front Against Trump

  • France’s Macron Seeks to Forge European Front Against Trump
by Sylvie Corbet | AP, https://www.washingtonpost.com/
PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron is seeking to take the lead of the European brigade against U.S. President Donald Trump at the summit of the Group of Seven wealthy countries in Canada.

Macron called a meeting Friday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Theresa May, new Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte and top EU officials just before the G-7 opening. He told reporters the United States’ attitude must lead other nations to “reforge the European front.”

European leaders criticize the U.S. decision to impose protectionist tariffs on steel and aluminum and to exit the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate agreement. Tweeting in English, Macron stressed: “No leader is eternal. We inherit commitments which are beyond us. We take them on. That is the life of nations.”

Macron launched the offensive on Thursday at a joint news conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Adopting an unusually sharp tone about one of France’s closest allies, Macron rejected the idea of an American “hegemony”.

“The other countries of the G-6 are a larger market than the American market,” Macron said. “Maybe it doesn’t bother the American president to be isolated, but it doesn’t bother us to be six if need be.”

European Council President Donald Tusk, who will attend the meeting of EU leaders, said in the New York Times this week “Europe must now do everything in its power to protect the trans-Atlantic bond, in spite of today’s mood. But at the same time we must be prepared for scenarios in which we will have to act on our own.”

Trump Fires Back at France, Canada as Macron Speaks of ‘G6’ Confronting US

  • Trump Fires Back at France, Canada as Macron Speaks of ‘G6’ Confronting US
    by https://sputniknews.com/
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – President Donald Trump criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for being so angry about the new US tariffs and accused Canada of hurting American dairy farmers.

“Trudeau is being so indignant, bringing up the relationship that the US and Canada had over the many years and all sorts of other things … but he doesn’t bring up the fact that they charge us up to 300% on dairy — hurting our Farmers, killing our Agriculture!” Trump wrote in a Twitter message on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, French President Emmanuel Macron said in a press briefing that French and Canadian delegations would try to persuade Trump at the G7 summit to take a more conventional path on trade amid his imposition of tariffs on the European Union and Canada.

“The six countries of the G7 without the United States, are a bigger market taken together than the American market,” Macron said. “There will be no world hegemony if we know how to organise ourselves. And we don’t want there to be one.”

The US president in an earlier tweet on Thursday said that Canada and France were charging the US massive tariffs and creating “non-monetary barriers.”

“The EU trade surplus with the US is $151 Billion, and Canada keeps our farmers and others out,” Trump said in a tweet before adding that he looked forward to meeting the two leaders on Friday.

Trump recently held a confrontational phone call with Trudeau on trade tariffs in which he blamed the Canadians for burning down the White House in the War of 1812, the media reported on Wednesday.

Last week, Trump announced he would remove an exemption on steel and aluminum tariffs for Canada, Mexico, and the European Union due to the national security threat posed by the imports of these metals. Mexico and Canada responded to the US move with countermeasures. In particular, Ottawa announced it would target US steel, aluminum and other products totaling 16.6 billion Canadian dollars ($12.8 billion). The tariffs will take effect on July 1.

Macron Turns on Trump After US President Attacks EU and Canada: ‘We Don’t Mind Being G6, If Needs Be’

  • Trump is fracturing the US-EU alliance ie. the global order setup after WW2. The ‘Luv’ by the Europeans is getting more palpable.

Revelation 17:16-17 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 And the ten horns which you saw on[a] the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

The Group of Seven (G7) summit is more divided than at any time in its history amid Donald Trump’s attacks on the European Union and Canada ahead of the meeting in Canada on Friday.

The US president imposed heavy tariffs on steel and aluminium imports in a bid to rebuild America’s industry, targeting nations from key G7 allies such as Canada, Japan and the EU.

Emmanuel Macron, the French president who has attempted to establish a warm personal relationship with Mr Trump, said the other G7 nations should remain “polite” and productive, but warned “no leader is forever.”

In comments to reporters, Mr Macron signalled Europe would not surrender meekly to the US president and suggested the G7 could function as six nations instead of seven. “Maybe the American president doesn’t care about being isolated today, but we don’t mind being six, if needs be,” Mr Macron said. “Because these six represent values, represent an economic market, and more than anything, represent a real force at the international level today.”
