Over 266,000 people have also been displaced since January, and are now living in makeshift shelters. RT talked to noted whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg, who released the Pentagon Papers detailing America’s real motives behind the 1970s Vietnam War. He believes there’s much to be exposed about the Afghan campaign too.

Trump Continues War For Opium in Afghanistan

  • Trump Continues War For Opium in Afghanistan
    by James Corbett | August 25, 2017, http://theinternationalforecaster.com/
For all those pundits out there who were concerned that Trump wasn’t “Presidential” enough to actually be President, I have some great news for you! This past week Trump wiped out any such fear by doing the most presidential thing that can possibly be imagined: Continuing the never-ending war in Afghanistan!

That’s right, the longest war in the history of the United States is not coming to an end any time soon. And just in case you were still operating under the delusion that the current puppet figurehead was any different at all from any of the stuffed shirts who previously occupied the Oval Office, Trump is even copying Obama’s failed 2009 “surge” strategy to keep the whole charade going for another 4 (or 8 or 12 or 200) years.

As Mark Perry notes in his article on the subject, quoting an unnamed Pentagon official who was privy to the deliberations on the plan:

“This Trump plan, at least so far as I understand it, sounds a lot like the kind of plan we’ve come up with again and again since the end of World War Two,” a senior Pentagon officer says. “We’re going to surge troops, reform the government we support and put pressure on our allies. In this building [the Pentagon] there’s a hell of a lot of skepticism. And that’s because we all know what this new strategy really means – and what it means that the only way we can get out of Afghanistan is to get further in. You know, it seems to me that if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that that doesn’t work.”

Bah! Work shmirk. The point is that copying Obama’s failed “surge” strategy will look aggressive and manly and will pump even more of that Fed-issued fiat debt paper into the pockets of the Pentagon and their contractor buddies, so now Trump is officially “Presidential” according to all the neocons on the right and the warmongers on the left.

The Trump dupes, of course, will argue that their “God-Emperor” has somehow or other (gosh darn, wouldn’t you know it?) been put under a magical hypnotic spell by the Deep State and converted from a freedom-loving man of peace into a warmonger. They are, as always, delusional. This is the same Trump who said he was the most “militaristic” candidate in the GOP primary field and promised to “bomb the shit” out of those dastardly terrorists in Sy-raq (instead of, oh, I don’t know, not creating, funding, training, equipping and protecting them), bring back waterboarding (and worse), target and kill family members of the (CIA-sponsored) terrorists, and take the resources from America’s vanquished in future resource wars. More to the point, as Micah Zenko accurately pointed out in the wake of this annoucnement, “Trump has now expanded US military presence and/or airstrikes in EVERY combat theater he inherited from Obama.”

But hey, he pretended to criticize Obama’s Afghan strategy a few years ago, so what difference does all of that make?

In fact, it’s impossible to think of a single, rational, defensible reason for the idiocy that is this Obama Surge 2.0 that Trump is greenlighting. It is a proven failed strategy, it is a waste of money, it only further destabilizes a region in turmoil and, as we have seen, even the Pentagon officials behind the scene resent it. And, oh yeah, it’s a bloody and murderous and illegal invasion of a country, if that counts for anything anymore.

The Afghan war itself was never about ousting (CIA patsy) Bin Laden or protecting America from Al CIAda or preventing the next 9/11, as we can clearly see in 2017, long after the “murder” of “Bin Laden” in Abbottabad and the fact that Al CIAda are the good guys again. No, as I stated in my video on the 15th anniversary of the invasion last year, the Afghan war is a resource grab, a foothold in a key square of the geopolitical chessboard, and a ploy to keep the CIA’s precious drug money flowing from their opium operations in the country.

It’s the Opium, Stupid: ‘Afghan Surge Guarantees CIA Black-Ops Budget Boost’

  • My understanding is that the black budget portion which is derived from the illicit drugs trade is in the region of US$800B to US$1 trillion annually. The Black Budget is a totally unsupervised operation (ie. unsupervised by the US government) under the control of the Synagogue of Satan. It is used for all the Black Ops, Black Science, terrorism, wars, toppling governments …. The main bulk of it is, IMO, spent on building underground cities, D.U.M.Bs, the space war machine, Anti-Gravity UFOs  …. ie. in preparation for war against the Lord Jesus Christ on His 2nd Coming.

All Efforts No Matter The Size Are Equally Important In the Fight Against Globalism

  • “Globalism” is a euphemism for the process towards a One World Government led by the Anti-Christ where national sovereignties will be subjugated to the World Government. “Globalists” is just a euphemism for Illuminists ie. Satanists. So, I don’t recommend anyone call himself a “globalist”. There are, unfortunately, deceived useful idiots who do.

Has Trump Entered the NEOCON Zone?

https://socioecohistory.wordpress.com/2012/12/03/ashkenazis-self-styled-jews-are-not-the-descendants-of-the-ancient-israelites/

  • Has Trump Entered the NEOCON Zone?
    by Dave Hodges, http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/
It is America’s longest war. It is America’s most unproductive war. The war has accomplished three objectives, none of which helps preserve national security:

    1. The war makes the military industrial complex a lot of money. These are the very forces that are trying unseat Trump.
    2. The war has allowed the US military to protect the drug war lords. This clearly supports the CIA’s drug enterprise which has been in place since the Golden Triangle drug trafficking in Southeast Asia and it was one of the major reasons why the United States fought in Vietnam. This is another case of history repeating itself.
    3. The war protects the future Central Asian pipeline so the oil companies (ie Rockefeller interests), will make a lot of money.

None of these reasons further the national interests of the United States. The war wastes our resources and throws away young American lives in the name of greedy corporate profits.

    Broken Campaign Promises
President Donald Trump laid out his military strategy, which represented the 180 degree opposite of what he promised the American people. Trump is now in support of the war in Afghanistan and said so in his Monday night speech to the nation, saying in his first presidential prime time address that he will not withdraw troops from the region, despite years of advocating for such action.

Trump did not say how many troops he’ll send to Afghanistan, nor did he offer a time-frame for when the troops would leave, vowing not to “talk about numbers of troops or our plans for further military activities,” which he called “counterproductive.”  Trump just handed the military industrial complex a blank check for an endless war and a bottomless pit of American cash.

Afghanistan Is About Aiding and Abetting Terrorism
How many articles have I written with EXTENSIVE documentation which exposes the Obama/Clinton/McCain support for ISIS? Trump hinted at the Clinton connections during the campaign and how he’s joining them? There are a lot of happy drug lords in Afghanistan today.

9/11 was Planned in Tel Aviv and Washington, Not in Kabul: Dr. Kevin Barrett

  • 9/11 was Planned in Tel Aviv and Washington, Not in Kabul: Dr. Kevin Barrett
    by http://presstv.com/
The September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were not planned and directed from Afghanistan, as US President Donald Trump has claimed; rather, they were orchestrated by certain elements in Washington, DC and Tel Aviv, says Dr. Kevin Barrett, an American academic who has been studying the events of 9/11 since late 2003.

“[The] Zionist coup d’etat of 9/11 was done by the combination of Israelis and neo-conservative Americans along with hard-line right-wingers in the American military and the intelligence establishment who pulled off this coup d’etat in America,” Dr. Barrett said.

Dr. Barrett, a founding member of the Scientific Panel for the Investigation of 9/11, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Tuesday while commenting on a statement Trump made on Monday during his policy speech about Afghanistan.

Speaking from Fort Myer, Virginia, Trump unveiled his much-anticipated agenda for Afghanistan. During his speech, Trump said, “The consequences of a rapid exit [from Afghanistan] are both predictable and unacceptable. 9/11, the worst terrorist attack in our history, was planned and directed from Afghanistan because that country was ruled by a government that gave comfort and shelter to terrorists. A hasty withdrawal would create a vacuum that terrorists, including ISIS and al Qaeda, would instantly fill, just as happened before September 11th.”

‘Trump sending US to graveyard of empires’
“Donald Trump has just committed the United States to an endless quagmire in Afghanistan — the graveyard of empires. And Trump’s rationale is the same one that has been in force for the past sixteen years which is that Afghanistan was somehow responsible for the attacks on New York and Washington on September 11, 2001,” Dr. Barrett said.

“It is amazing how this gift of 9/11 keeps on giving. And Trump is the last person one would have normally expected to do this,” he stated.

“When Trump was running for office, he was skeptical about foreign wars, open-ended engagements. He recognized that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have destroyed America’s economy and infrastructure,” he said.

Major U-Turn: Trump Steps Up Afghanistan Military Campaign Despite Election Promises

  • Has Trump sold out to the Illuminist MIC? Well, at least with regards to Afghanistan, he has sold out. Why and what constraints he has we can only guess. Facts are facts. Don’t be too in love with people, look at the issues and facts. I am not saying that Trump has now joined the Illuminati and become their puppet. I am simply saying Trump has made a decision which is definitely against his election promises. Issues are more important than people in my book.

The U.S. Air Force says it may intensify its airstrikes in Afghanistan, following President Trump’s decision to step up the 16-year-long military campaign there. On Monday, Trump announced an open-ended surge of troops and money to the country – in a major U-turn on his election promises. He then headed to Arizona to speak in front of his supporters – but was met with protests outside the venue.

Neocons Love Trump’s New Afghanistan Plan, Blackwater Calls It “Obama-Lite”

  • Neocons Love Trump’s New Afghanistan Plan, Blackwater Calls It “Obama-Lite”
    by Tyler Durden, http://www.zerohedge.com
In an extended tweetstorm conccurrent with Trump’s Monday night Afghanistan address, Ron Paul lashed out at the president, saying that at long last, Trump’s neo-con nature had emerged. “Steve Bannon brakes removed. Neocons feeling their oats” and urging the public to “Beware! @LindseyGrahamSC loves Trump’s speech! Why are arch-neocons celebrating so much? Very telling!.” It appears that Paul’s assessment of Trump’s new strategy was not far off, because as the Hill reports today, the neoconservative wing of the Republican Party applauded President Trump’s troop surge in Afghanistan, even as members of the president’s base accused him of capitulating to the national security establishment.

Some of the loudest accolades came from foreign policy hawks in the Senate, including two of Trump’s fiercest GOP critics, Lindsey Graham and John McCain, who praised Trump for going against his “instinct” and delegating the decision to his generals, who convinced him that victory could be had in the 16-year war that has spanned three administrations.
