Did You Know that Nearly 30,000 Jews are Living Peacefully in Iran?

  • PressTV Published on Apr 22, 2018
The freedom that the religious minorities enjoy in Iran is unparalleled in the world as the Jews and Christians can practice their religious rituals freely. Iran is an Islamic republic but Iranians are not solely Muslim? There’s also Zoroastrians, Christians and Jews in this country, as recognized religious minorities, free to practice their own rites and rituals. There are around 25 to 30 thousand Jews living in Iran. There are over 60 active synagogues in Iran in which religious worship is carried out regularly. In Tehran, over 5 Kosher restaurants that serve foods that comply with Jewish dietary laws.

Western media artillery has bombarded false news against Iran, since the start of the Islamic revolution. One claim by Zionist media outlets influencing the world’s mind has been that: minorities in Iran, especially the Jewish community suffer a terrible situation. The Jewish community has the benefit of an excellent religious freedom in Iran. The government of the Islamic Revolution shows Judaism the same respect it shows to Islam in a way that we face no limitations to observe our religious ceremonies and rituals here. This is at a time though, in European countries, despite all the claims of being concerned about the human rights, we don’t have the same freedom we have here. Jewish synagogues have to be guarded by police forces all the time to prevent bombings; in France, Sweden, England.
