Jordan Slams Israel After Settlers Enter Al-Aqsa

    Jordan’s Minister of Islamic Affairs Wael Arabiyat warned that pursuing such a policy can spark a religious war in the region. He also denounced the Israeli police for arresting and beating Muslim worshippers at the al-Aqsa mosque, which is the third holiest site for the world Muslims. Jordan’s King Abdullah has also criticized repeated violations by Israeli troops and settlers for their QUOTE blatant attempts to change the status quo in Jerusalem Al-Quds. On Sunday around 400 settlers, escorted by Israeli forces stormed the al-Aqsa mosque.
