Berlin, (SANA)- German “Die Welt” daily said that only 5% of the armed terrorists in the so-called Free Army are Syrians, while 95% of them are extremist groups which came from several African countries to jihad in Syria backed by the Gulf and Arab countries.

In their initial article Mail Online refers to an Infowars.com article (dated January 28, 2013), that’s where they probably found the information on the leaked e-mail and other documents.

CapitalBay (who published the wrong areal pictures of the school in Sandy Hook), Mail Online, Infowars, Yahoo News India, News Track India, Whale.to, Philippine Times, Uganda News, LiveLeak, Truth Media TV and others all claim in their mirrored articles that the alleged e-mail from Britam’s David Goulding to Philip Doughty was dated December 25, 2012.

However, at Neftegaz.ru (translated with Google) there also exists another version of the alleged e-mail. There the e-mail is dated December 24, 2012. Whether the content of the alleged e-mail is correct, that’s open for debate. Fact is that PressTV has an article online which supports the claims in the alleged e-mail. And RT‘s article from last year (June 10, 2012) still claims that “Syrian rebels aim to use chemical weapons,” to then blame Assad for it. Those weapons came from Libya, according to RT. This begs the question: Did Christopher Stevens know about those weapons when he died in the CIA villa in Benghazi last year?

But why was the article pulled by Mail Online? Why do there exist at least 2 versions of the same alleged e-mail? And what about Britam admitting that they were hacked, according to Ruvr.co.uk (The Voice of Russia)?

But there’s also this, according to Mail Online it was a Malaysian hacker who got to the alleged e-mail(s), while Infowars claims that the e-mail was “obtained by a hacker in Germany.”

Either way, whoever initiated the Britam e-mail escapade did a good job at fooling both mainstream and alternative news outlets because it’s a real mess and few know what really happened and why.

Yet it’s ironic that Mail Online did not delete their other article where they wrote about the UN’s Carla Del Ponte who claims that Syrian rebels are responsible for “sarin gas attacks, which had been blamed on Assad’s troops.” The same rebels who now receive resources from the EU and the U.S., since the EU is buying oil from those “rebels” and the US is arming them for a proxy war as the Washington Post describes it.

Earlier it was reported that Israel had granted oil exploration rights inside Syria, in the occupied Golan Heights, to Genie Energy who’s shareholders include Rupert Murdoch and Lord Jacob Rothschild.

The Western press was mute on the Syrian war on June 12th as reports came of another massacre carried out by the so called ‘rebels’, who are in fact members of al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda affiliated groups. Among those massacred in the village of Hatlah in the region of Deir e Zohr were dozens of women and children. Reports of the massacre vary from 30 to 100.

The French press did seem too interested in dwelling on the massacre, which is surprising given their deep concern for the ‘protection of the civilian population’ and indefatigable advocacy of ‘humanitarian intervention’ in the Syrian conflict.

Le Monde, who published two sensational reports recently which purported to ‘prove’ that the Syrian ‘regime’ had used chemical weapons ‘on its own people’-without presenting a shred of credible evidence to back up their claims- attempted to play down the crime against humanity committed by the ‘rebels’ they support.

The French daily reported that 60 shiite residents of the village of Hatlah were killed on Tuesday. There was no mention of the word ‘massacre’, no mention of the word ‘crime’, no condemnation of the barbaric acts. Instead, the report spoke of government ‘militias’ controlling local areas.

There was no condemnation of the massacre of Hatlah from the Quai D’Orsay either. Thousands of massacres have been committed by the western-backed terrorists since the outbreak of the conflict in Syria in 2011, most of not all have been ignored by the French government.[1]

The mainstream press agencies usually use massacres committed by terrorists in Syria as war propaganda by blaming the crimes on the Syrian army. But the coordination between the terrorists and Nato’s media agencies would appear to have been lacking in Tuesdays’ Syrian war theatre.

The killers posted a video on the internet where they boasted about their slaughter of civilians in the village, chanting ‘Allah akbar’ as they showed the remains of their ‘raafidis’(derogatory term for Shiite) victims. This is not the script Nato’s media agencies find useful. In fact, it is counter productive and only helps the ‘regime’. They should have filmed their slaughtered victims and posted the video online with the caption ‘innocent civilians slaughtered by Assad’s forces, international community must intervene’ It seems these terrorists were badly trained.

Syrian and Kuwaiti killers entered the village of Hatlah on Tuesday, June 11th, marked out Shiite houses for destruction and proceeded to burn them down. Ibrahim Said, a local cleric, his wife and two girls of 4 and 2 were taken out and butchered to death. The leader of the gang also called on Sunnis in Kuwait to kill their Shiite neighbours. The video, visible on June 12th, has been censored by U Tube but can be viewed on Liveleak.[2]

According to McGovern, former CIA Director George Tenet told his “coterie of malleable managers” at the CIA to create a National Intelligence Estimate “to the terms of reference of Dick Cheney’s speech of August 26, 2002, where Dick Cheney said for the first time Saddam Hussein could have a nuclear weapon in a year, he’s got all kinds of chemical, he’s got all kinds of biological weapons.”

McGovern, who at one time chaired National Intelligence Estimates and prepared the President’s Daily Brief, also claimed to have evidence that the memo leads back to Cheney, but he would not say what it was, except that the names of the people involved were “in the public domain.”

In an op-ed posted at Buzzflash, McGovern argues, “If any good can come out of the intelligence/policy debacle regarding Iraq, it would be the clear lesson that intelligence crafted to dovetail with the predilections of policymakers can bring disaster. The role that Tenet, McLaughlin, and their small coterie of malleable managers played as willing accomplices in the corruption of intelligence has made a mockery of the verse chiseled into the marble at the entrance to CIA headquarters: ‘You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”

McGovern also calls Tenet a “pathetic figure” who is trying to “justify himself for unjustifiable activity.” Tenet, in his new book, claims that the Bush administration distorted his use of the term “slam dunk” in reference to intelligence that ultimately led to the Iraq war (RAW STORY‘s coverage is here).
