  Taking the Decision
   Will Israel’s Prime Minister sign an order to attack Iran? There are a lot of speculations in the Hebrew media on this issue. Before answering it, one must consider Netanyahu’s decision-making process. On June 13, 2012, Israel State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss published his report on the Israeli government’s behavior in the events related to Gaza’s Freedom Flotilla of May 2010. The Prime Minister turned out to be rather clumsy and incompetent to the extent of causing an unnecessary disaster. … The report discloses that the working meetings between Netanyahu and his Minister of Defense—Ehud Barak—were held without any preparation or documentation of the event. “It wasn’t clear which decisions were made during the meetings, decisions that were, on any account, not summed up in writing.” The most important sentence made by the State Comptroller was “in reality, the Prime Minister made the decision as the way to deal with the Turkish Flotilla based on the discussion held in this forum, and based on the recommendations of his friends.” In other words, the Israeli Administration and its laws mean little to Netanyahu; he will make significant decisions after just consulting his mysterious friends. The most obvious one is by a speech or the issuance of a formal document. However, that seldom happens; most ongoing wars have never been formally declared. This is relevant here because what Netanyahu did in his speech was to deliver such a war warning, though justifying it on unproven claims.   After the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requested manufacturers provide and more than 63,000,000 rounds of .40 S&W jacketed hollow point bullets (JHP), the latest agency of the federal government who is requesting questionable materials is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) who published a solicitation for 16,000 rounds of .40 S&W JHP. These bullets are slated for delivery in Ellsworth, Maine, and New Bedford, Massachusetts.

  Another order of 6,000 rounds of S&W JHP is expected to arrive at a weather station in St. Petersburg, Florida. The bid requires acknowledgment by August 21, 2012. The Social Security Office has also made a solicitation for 174,000 rounds of .357 hollow point bullets. These are the most lethal bullets available and would ensure the most damage to a human body.
