Sometimes a messenger wants to be more important than the message. These are remarkable people out there like Noam Chomsky, Susan Lindauer, Norman Finklestein, Naomi Prins, Chalmers Johnson, George Ball, Paul Rea, Fareed Zakaria and John Mearsheimer who provide invaluable outsider/insider information on all sorts of aspects of our economy and government.
Groups such as “Occupy Wallstreet” and “Tea party-goers” run around whining about all sorts of claims and often many of these followers with no indepth personal reading to understand virtually anything at all.
RE: a detailed and extremely informative understanding of America’s troubles in the Middle East I refer those wanting more details to Undersecretary George Ball’s book “The Passionate Attachment,” John Mearsheimer’s “The Israel Lobbyist” and Finklestein’s book “This time we went too far.”
For a detailed and extremely informative look at what happened in the years preceding the economic collapse of 2008 I refer the reader to Naomi Prins’ book “It takes a pillage” and a DVD titled “Inside Job.” I understand why Occupy WallStreet hasn’t kept track of the politicians who supported Wall Street Titans and target each of them as they ran for re-elections…it’s because most of the Occupy Wall Street followers don’t bother to read a book such as written by Naomi Prins and individually understand what was truly behind the issues and important protective legislation that was repealed or legislation schemes introduced by ignorant or corrupt politicians. If so, Occupy Wallstreet wouldn’t just be nesting themselves in tents and whining about generalities, missing an opportunity to be alot more concerted and coalesce their efforts against specific politicians like Phil Gramm who sucked up to Wall Street Titans and applauding efforts by someone like Sarbanes by his Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 .
For a closer look at the CIA, drug laundering and corruption which can wield a deadly weapon against the best interest of the United States citizen, take a look at what Susan Lindauer has to say in her book “Extreme Prejudice” or what Mike Ruppert has to offer in his numerous books and DVDs.
There’s less room for an honest, dutiful politician to sit in Congress as long as we keep letting the corrupted and ignorant politician stand as a representative for us..who’s intent is to honor their party, special interests and their bank account ahead of us.
Alex Jones seems an equivalent “blow hard” as is Ruch Limbaugh can be for the neoconservatives. For those with a lot more to say….look at these books mentioned above and realize how little we get from the commentators full of themselves, when the reading is before us instead. The success will come from our individual understanding. Pick smart books and be a smarter person.
