Rumors are swirling that the Chinese may revalue the Yuan upwards against the USD by as much as 10% this long weekend. I am skeptical though. A 10% revaluation means a loss of US$100B out of their US$1T in US treasuries. Something more gradual is more likely if any! These are all signs of a coming global currency crisis! US DOLLAR very close to an accelerating decline
There is only one way to describe what is occuring to the US Dollar; its future as the global reserve currency is in serious danger of disappearing forever. Under the “leadership” of the US Federal Reserve, and thanks also to the reckless and incredibly short-sighted spending occuring at the Federal level, the Dollar has run out of friends.
It’s decline this morning has opened the door for gold to push past $1500 and silver into what looks to me like the beginning of a “MELT UP” mode. It has also send further speculative money flows into the commodity sector with the result that the CCI, the Continuous Commodity Index, is within a whisker of matching its all time high.
What many of us have feared could happen but were hoping to see avoided, is becoming increasingly likely the further the Dollar descends into this abyss. As a citizen of my nation who cares deeply for its future for the sake of my own children, I am both disgusted and grieved at what those who were charged with preserving the integrity of its currency have done to our birthright.
A pox on these scurrilous men who have sold out our nation for political expediency. Their only loyalty is to their own pocketbooks and their crony pals who could give a rat’s ass what happens to the nation as long as they can profit from it all. This plague of locusts is stripping us bare.

Beware of the Great Silver Correction!
- Silver is on a terrifying move upwards. I am taken aback by the rapidity and sharpness of the move. Terrified shorts/bears are caught in this move. I seriously doubt many short sellers dare stand in front of this freight train moving forward. Everyone knows: the bullion banksters are being eaten alive despite their ginormous market manipulation powers! You have to be insane to try to trade this market especially on the short side. Top callers are looking like idiots.
- Be wary of people calling for a top and correction. Markets can continue to move contrary to popular opinions far longer than traders can maintain their margin calls. The correction will come when it comes. Meanwhile, the trend is up, up, up…. and away!!!
Beware of the Great Silver Correction

There seems to be a big debate going on now about silver going up too far, too fast. Paper moneytraitorstraders have tried to call the silver top all the way up and have had their heads handed to them by the market. Technical analysts have called for pull backs based off of some squiggly lines on their computer screens. Even Academy members, who get the idea of owning real physical silver, have been asking me about keeping some “powder dry” for the correction.
Let me state that this hyperbolic rocket launch IS THE CORRECTION! There is a little concept called reversion to the mean, that basically states that when something is held down for so long, eventually it is going to rocket up. That is what we are experiencing right now. Think about a huge inflatable silver beach ball that the banksters have been increasing the air/money supply, while using every power they can to keep the silver beach ball under the water. Sooner or later that ball is going to get away from the banksters control and you are going to see it launch out of the water.

You can fool some of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. The world is waking up to this rouse that the banksters have been foisting on our society for decades. They keep us running on a tread mill in fear with their welfare/warfare state. Now people are seeing a way out of this rat race with the Silver Bullet and the Silver Shield of real physical silver in your possession.
I pointed out the silver is still 66% below its CPI inflation adjusted high and only about $450 away from it’s REAL silver high. That is just to get back to the Hunt era high in 1980. There is vastly less silver in the world and vastly more humans, money and uses for silver in the world then back then. Can you even begin to imagine how high silver has to go to make up for a 138 year manipulation?! It literally should boggle your mind. Silver should literally be way over $100 today probably over $500 if the world really knew the level of deceit we are dealing with. This is a once in a human history opportunity and one that I believe will create generational wealth.

Nabi Saleh: A tiny village’s struggle againt the occupation

In just over one year of unarmed demonstrations in Nabi Saleh, a small Palestinian community in the West Bank, 155 of the village’s 500 residents were wounded (about 60 of them children); 35 homes were damaged and dozens of the village’s people were detained. Yet even after the protest’s leader was put behind bars by the army, the struggle for the Nabi Saleh’s land continues
The confrontations in Nabi Saleh over the past year are considered the most violent in the West Bank. In spite of the fact that the Palestinian side is adhering to the nonviolent popular protest, with women and children participating, Israel’s army has broken several records in brutality at Nabi Saleh.
In March 2010, a 14-year-old youth, Ihab Barghoutti, was shot with a rubber pellet in the course of a demonstration. The pellet hit his head and he went into a coma. Of the 500 residents of the village, 155 were wounded since the beginning of the demonstrations; that’s about 30% of the population. About 60 of the people wounded are children. 35 homes were damaged by the shooting of demonstration-dispersing weapons. Fires broke out in seven of these. Based on testimonies from demonstrators, the Israeli army uses live firepower against them, too, in violation of the law.
Just to be clear: throwing stones at an occupying army which prevents you from demonstrating on your own land does not constitute “violent protest.” It is the expected response to someone who not only steals your land but also denies you the basic right to protest this. If the army stops acting against the residents of Nabi Saleh and just gets the hell off their lands, no one will throw stones at it.
The residents of Nabi Saleh are not trying to go to the nearby settlement of Halamish and they are not endangering the settlers. They insist – every Friday – to demonstrate by a spring that was appropriated from them. The army does not even wait for the demonstrators to get out of the village. The Israeli army simply goes into the village and starts shooting at anything that moves – rubber-coated metal pellets, gas canisters, and other things. Sometimes it sprays entire streets with putrid skunk water: the houses, the windows, the potable water stored on the roofs. Not only is this collective punishment, this policy exposes the true provocateur: Village residents, who demonstrate without threatening any Israeli? Or the army, which invades their streets? (A quote from the testimony of Hedva Isscar: “The first gas canister was shot at us before we had time to get out of the village.”)
Like in Bil’in and Silwan, the Israeli army is trying to chop off the head of the popular protest by making arrests (did it help in Bil’in and Silwan? It did not. Does the Israeli army learn anything from this? It did not, either.) Protest leader Bassam Tamimi was arrested a month ago (in the 90’s Tamimi was tortured by the Internal Security Service [Shabak], after which he was paralyzed for a month). Like Abdallah Abu Rahme from Bil’in, Tamimi is 10 levels of morality above the army that arrested him. Here is what he says:
“We want to offer our people an example and pattern of popular struggle. Since the beginning of the revolution (the establishment of the PLO) and the armed struggle we have made cumulative mistakes which the Israelis used against us, although these were merely responses to the Israeli oppression. We do not have a military answer to Israel. History teaches us that if ever we had even partial success, it was in popular uprisings: in 1936 and in 1987. It is in the popular struggle that we can prove our moral superiority to all and sundry.”
People with that kind of dangerous idea must be put behind lock and key. The wave of arrests at Nabi Saleh is characterized by the eradication of the difference between adults and minors. Since the protests began, more than a year ago, more than 60 residents of the village have been arrested and imprisoned (that’s approximately 13%). 29 of those imprisoned are minors. In an apparent effort to spare themselves the physical effort of running after demonstrators, Israel’s army has developed an original, new method: Army forces invade village homes at night, wakes up boys from their sleep, and photographs them. This is how they build up a database that will serve for future arrests – and to hell with civil rights and the presumption of innocence. Later, testimonies collected from minors, in violation of the law, without the presence of parents or attorneys and while denying them sleep, are used to incriminated village activists.
Imagine a 14-year-old Israeli youth taken from his home, without parents in attendance, and interrogated for a seven-hour stretch about rock-throwing. Imagine him being put in detention for two and half months. Imagine having one law for you – and another for him.

Now is the time to make the ever-necessary note that is always absent from reports of the “riots” in the Occupied Territories: Halamish itself is a marvel of unlawfulness. First, it was established on occupied territory, in contravention of international law. Second, it was established by force of a military appropriation order and was deceitfully converted into a civilian settlement. Third, large parts of it were constructed without plans or permits, knowing that they would be retroactively authorized by legal channels. In the confrontation between the residents of Halamish and the residents of Nabi Saleh, Israel’s army defends the law-breakers.
Israel’s governments, one after another, have specialized in blatant lies to the public. A particularly effective method was the concealment of the merely-colonial expansionist greed behind military excuses. Thus, for example, the government decision dated 2 October 1977 establishing Neve Tzoof/Halamish was phrased: “the government records the decision of the Ministers’ Committee For Settlement dated 17 Tishrei 5738 (29 September 1977). The settlers will populate Army camps in Samaraia [sic] and be employed in accordance with army requirements as workers in service of the army. The government authorizes the deployment of the first nucleus to settlement in the Samaria Camp, today.”
“Workers in service of the army.” What has changed today? That the army works in their service. What’s the difference? There is no difference. Here, too, is the reason for the especially tough measures taken by the military against the demonstrators at Nabi Saleh, in contrast with other places in the West Bank. The Nabi Saleh demonstrations threaten not the separation wall but a territory the settlers have occupied for themselves. The army operates as a militia for retention of the lands by Jews; it perceives the protest as being addressed directly to it, as there is no true difference between the interests of the settler and the interests of the soldiers guarding him. There is no doubt that this is aided by the presence of a senior office in the Halamish settlement - Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) Itzik Shadmi, Chair of the Binyamin Settler Committee, a man whose opinions nestle comfortably between ultra-rightwing Rabbi Dov Wolfa and Kahane man Baruch Marzel.
The Israeli army will lose. The settlers will lose. Israel will lose. On the road to that loss they will wound and displace countless Palestinians, but at the end they will lose. And they will lose because they do not understand what they are contending with, despite the fact that it is in plain view, before their very eyes (as you can see in the astonishing movie, below). Sometimes you need a tremendous, superhuman effort to see that there is a human being before you. And then you need another effort, no smaller than the first, to see that what you ask him to relinquish – in contrast to what you must relinquish – is the recognition of his own value as a human being.
And that, he will not relinquish.

Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip has left the isolated Palestinian territory’s children stressed, desperate and in poverty, forcing some to do dangerous and deadly work, UNICEF said Tuesday.
While there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Israel’s blockade means there is extensive poverty, endemic unemployment and that 80 percent of Gazans are dependent on aid handouts, said UNICEF spokeswoman Catherine Weibel.
Children under 18, around half the estimated 1.5 million population of the territory governed by Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, are the most affected, the United Nations children’s agency spokeswoman told journalists. While 90 percent of Gazan children are educated poverty still obliges many to work.
They work often in “danger zones” such as smuggling tunnels running under the border from Egypt aimed at defying the Israeli blockade. To keep working in the tunnels, which could collapse, be bombed or gassed, many youths take Tramadol painkillers, Weibel said.
Children also work as scrap collectors, scavenging for metal or other materials among the ruins in the buffer zone near the Israeli border where “Israel shoots systematically at anything that moves,” Weibel said. “Children are wounded or killed every week,” she said, stressing the despair of adolescents who “don’t know what they will become and have the feeling that they’re cut off from the rest of the world.”
“There has been an explosion in the number of children killed on both sides of the border” since the start of the year, she said. In 2010, 11 Palestinian children were killed and 360 wounded in the Gaza Strip and Israeli-occupied West Bank. Three Palestinian children were killed and 64 wounded in January and February. On March 22, two Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli strike as they played football in front of their home in Gaza City. On Sunday, an Israeli teenager who was seriously wounded in an April 7 rocket attack from Gaza died.
