Is it possible for the Nobel people to take their prize back from Al Gore ? ?
Any global warming is being offset up there by the shutdown of the Gulf Stream off the Carolina coast. Go to DEOS site and check it yourself; the satellite data is available in fact they have a weekly one you can download to compare gulf stream velocities. From what I read it has been in failure mode since July. Some are tying that to the world’s worst oil spill saying the oil got into the current. Is that possible? I do not know but shutting down part of the Great Ocean Conveyor system is a major big deal as we can all see from what is happening both here on this post and in Europe where the warmth is NOT being transferred.
