Paul Tudor Jones Says Now Is Time, Place for Gold as an Asset!

  • Legendary investor Paul Tudor Jones has joined the ranks of gold bugs! Bloomberg reports:
      
    The time to hold gold is now as faster inflation and increased purchases through exchange-traded funds and by central banks boost demand amid stagnant mine output, Paul Tudor Jones’s Tudor Investment Corp. said.
     
    “I have never been a gold bug,” Jones, whose company manages about $11.6 billion out of Greenwich, Connecticut, told investors in an Oct. 15 letter, a copy of which was obtained by Bloomberg News. “It is just an asset that, like everything else in life, has its time and place. And now is that time.”
     
    Gold futures gained 18 percent this year in New York and reached a record $1,072 an ounce on Oct. 14, on concern that near-zero interest rates and government spending will debase currencies and spur inflation. Fund manager     John Paulson increased his bets on gold this year, while David Einhorn told clients of his $5 billion Greenlight Capital Inc. hedge fund in January he was buying gold for the first time.

    “As one would expect, rising inflation suggests higher gold prices, especially when the Fed is perceived to be behind the curve,” according to the letter. “Gold appears to be cheap. In our view, gold’s value should increase as its scarcity relative to printed currencies increases.”
     
    Hedge Fund
    Patrick Clifford, an outside spokesman for Tudor in New York, confirmed the letter was sent to investors. Tudor’s Tudor BVI hedge fund gained 14.9 percent this year through the third quarter, according to the letter. Tudor identified gold, emerging market equities denominated in local currencies and commodity related stocks as among the most likely assets to perform best.
     
    As the metal’s price rallied to a record, so too have bullion holdings in exchange-traded funds. Assets in the     SPDR Gold Trust, the biggest ETF backed by bullion, reached an all- time high 1,134 metric tons on June 1, and were at 1,104.43 tons as of yesterday, its Web site showed. Central banks were net buyers in the second quarter for the first time since at least 2000, according to the World Gold Council.
     
    While metal exploration expenditure has increased, mine production has been “stagnant” the past decade and new output is “marginal” in terms of available supplies, according to the letter. “Any incremental demand for gold must be met through sales from current owners,” the company said in the letter. “They just aren’t making that much of it anymore.”

Copenhagen Agreement is a Plan for World Government !

The sheeple will no longer think that world government is a conspiracy theory. When this Copenhagen treaty is signed, nations around the world will be enslaved to this United Nations 2.0. The world government will have the right to tax all citizens and the ability to enforce it. National sovereignty is toast. Having said this, I doubt all nations will sign this treaty. Those align to Russia will likely refuse. The west ie: EU, America and its allies/puppets will be enslaved. Third world countries who think they will have a free lunch will agree to it.

    Enter Lord Christopher Monckton. The former adviser to Margaret Thatcher gave an address at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, earlier this month that made quite a splash. For the first time, the public heard about the 181 pages, dated Sept. 15, that comprise the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change—a rough draft of what could be signed come December.
     
    So far there have been more than a million hits on the YouTube post of his address. It deserves millions more because Lord Monckton warns that the aim of the Copenhagen draft treaty is to set up a transnational “government” on a scale the world has never before seen.
     
    The “scheme for the new institutional arrangement under the Convention” that starts on page 18 contains the provision for a “government.” The aim is to give a new as yet unnamed U.N. body the power to directly intervene in the financial, economic, tax and environmental affairs of all the nations that sign the Copenhagen treaty.
     
    The reason for the power grab is clear enough: Clause after complicated clause of the draft treaty requires developed countries to pay an “adaptation debt” to developing countries to supposedly support climate change mitigation. Clause 33 on page 39 says that “by 2020 the scale of financial flows to support adaptation in developing countries must be [at least $67 billion] or [in the range of $70 billion to $140 billion per year].”
     
    And how will developed countries be slugged to provide for this financial flow to the developing world? The draft text sets out various alternatives, including option seven on page 135, which provides for “a [global] levy of 2 per cent on international financial market [monetary] transactions to Annex I Parties.” Annex 1 countries are industrialized countries, which include among others the U.S., Australia, Britain and Canada.
     
    To be sure, countries that sign international treaties always cede powers to a U.N. body responsible for implementing treaty obligations. But the difference is that this treaty appears to have been subject to unusual attempts to conceal its convoluted contents. And apart from the difficulty of trying to decipher the U.N. verbiage, there are plenty of draft clauses described as “alternatives” and “options” that should raise the ire of free and democratic countries concerned about preserving their sovereignty.
     
    Lord Monckton himself only became aware of the extraordinary powers to be vested in this new world government when a friend found an obscure U.N. Web site and searched through several layers of hyperlinks before discovering a document that isn’t even called the draft “treaty.” Instead, it’s labelled a “Note by the Secretariat.”
     
    Interviewed by broadcaster Alan Jones on Sydney radio Monday, Lord Monckton said “this is the first time I’ve ever seen any transnational treaty referring to a new body to be set up under that treaty as a ‘government.’ But it’s the powers that are going to be given to this entirely unelected government that are so frightening.” He added: “The sheer ambition of this new world government is enormous right from the start—that’s even before it starts accreting powers to itself in the way that these entities inevitably always do.”
     
    Critics have admonished Lord Monckton for his colorful language. He has certainly been vigorous. In his exposé of the draft Copenhagen treaty in St. Paul, he warned Americans that “in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy and your prosperity away forever.” Yet his critics fail to deal with the substance of what he says.
     
    Ask yourself this question: Given that our political leaders spend hundreds of hours talking about climate change and the need for a global consensus in Copenhagen, why have none of them talked openly about the details of this draft climate-change treaty? After all, the final treaty will bind signatories for years to come. What exactly are they hiding? Thanks to Lord Monckton we now know something of their plans.
     
    Janos Pasztor, director of the Secretary-General’s Climate Change Support Team, told reporters in New York Monday that with the U.S. Congress yet to pass a climate-change bill, a global climate-change treaty is now an unlikely outcome in Copenhagen. Let’s hope he is right. And thank you, America.

US and Israel Reiterate to Moscow: Military Option is on the Table!

  • This is going to be close. War is more than likely. The Illuminati cabal wants to fulfil their Satanic 3 World Wars Plan. In essence, they want to destroy and remake the entire middle east via a period of prolonged war. The 3 great religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam will be destroyed in the process. Luciferianism is the end game. I suspect some form of Satanic Kabbalah will take off.
      
    DEBKAfile‘s US intelligence sources report indications of impending war preparations against Iran after Tehran’s rejections of the UN-brokered proposal to ship its enriched uranium overseas for further enrichment. These sources reveal that the administration is seeking congressional authorization to open America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). Furthermore, the US-Israeli joint US-Israel Juniper Cobra ballistic exercise is in full swing. Finally, US and Israel officials have been instructed to warn Moscow that the military option is still on the table if Iran’s nuclear program is not halted by diplomatic means.
     
    The US SPR which contains 727 million barrels of petroleum is only opened in time of war. Under an agreement signed with Israel in 1975, Washington undertakes to supply Israel with its fuel needs for five years in an emergency.
     
    Word of these apparent war preparations appeared Saturday Oct. 31, the day after Iran’s senior nuclear negotiator delivered a counter-proposal to the UN-brokered plan to the IAEA in Vienna which excised its main object, which was to reduce the enriched uranium stocks in hand for Iran to make a nuclear bomb.
     
    The joint US-Israeli military exercise which ends Tuesday, Nov. 3, moved to the Tel Aviv arena last Tuesday with US forces drilling defensive action against a prospective Iranian missile attack or a seaborne strike from the Mediterranean on Israel’s central conurbation.
     
    For the last three days, Moscow has had nothing to say about the Iranian rejection of a plan which would have sent Iranian uranium to Russia for reprocessing, although Tehran previously indicated to the Kremlin that the international plan would sail through. DEBKAfile‘s Moscow sources regard the rebuff as Tehran’s response to the suspension of Russian S-300 missile defense batteries after they had already been packed for delivery to Iran.
