Swine Flu Was “Cultured In A Laboratory” !

  Clues that the virus may be a synthetic creation are already manifesting. According to reports, the virus is  a “never-before-seen form of the flu that combines pig, bird and human viruses” which consists of an intercontinental mix of viruses from North America, Europe and Asia.
   
  “CDC officials detected a virus with a unique combination of gene segments that have not been seen in people or pigs before,” according to an Associated Press report.
   
  “This strain of swine influenza that’s been cultured in a laboratory is something that’s not been seen anywhere actually in the United States and the world, so this is actually a new strain of influenza that’s been identified,” said Dr. John Carlo, Dallas Co. Medical Director (video clip here).
   
  Alarming reports are now filtering in about people catching the illness who have had no contact with pigs whatsoever. These include a man and his daughter in San Diego County, a 41-year-old woman in Imperial County and two teenagers in San Antonio, Texas. In fact, in all U.S. cases, the victims had no contact with any pigs.
   
  Dr. Wilma Wooten, San Diego County’s public health officer, told KPBS “We have had person-to-person spread with the father and the daughter,” says Wooten, “And also with the two teenagers in Texas, they were in the same school. So that also indicates person-to-person transfer.”
   
  “Dr. Wooten says it’s unclear how people were exposed to swine flu. She says none of the patients have had any contact with pigs,” according to the report.
   
  Although the situation in the U.S. looks under control, panic is spreading in Mexico, where 800 cases of pneumonia in the capital alone are suspected to be related to the swine flu and the virus has hit young and healthy people, which is very rare with an flu outbreak. Despite the danger of a pandemic, the U.S. border with Mexico remains open.
   
  “Mexico has shut schools and museums and canceled hundreds of public events in its sprawling, overcrowded capital of 20 million people to try to prevent further infections,” reports Reuters.

  The WHO insists that the outbreak has “pandemic potential” and has been stockpiling supplies of Tamiflu, known generically as oseltamivir, a pill that can both treat flu and prevent infection, according to officials. As we previously highlighted, those that have a stake in the Tamiflu vaccine include top globalists and BIlderberg members like George Shultz, Lodewijk J.R. de Vink and former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
   
  Indeed, Rumsfeld himself played a key role in hyping an outbreak of swine flu back in the 1976 when he urged the entire country to get vaccinated. Many batches of the vaccine were contaminated, resulting in hundreds of sick people and 52 fatalities.
   
  The fact that the properties of the strain are completely new, that the virus is spreading from people to people, and that the young and healthy are being hit worst, has disturbing parallels to the deadly 1918 pandemic that killed millions.
   
  It is unclear as to why, if the virus is a brand new strain, that public health officials are so confident programs of mass vaccination, which are already being prepared, would necessarily be effective.
   
  It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that deadly flu viruses have been concocted in labs and then dispatched with the intention of creating a pandemic.
   
  When the story first broke last month, Czech newspapers questioned if the shocking discovery of vaccines contaminated with the deadly avian flu virus which were distributed to 18 countries by the American company Baxter were part of a conspiracy to provoke a pandemic.
   
  Since the probability of mixing a live virus biological weapon with vaccine material by accident is virtually impossible, this leaves no other explanation than that the contamination was a deliberate attempt to weaponize the H5N1 virus to its most potent extreme and distribute it via conventional flu vaccines to the population who would then infect others to a devastating degree as the disease went airborne.
   
  However, this is not the first time that vaccine companies have been caught distributing vaccines contaminated with deadly viruses. In 2006 it was revealed that Bayer Corporation had discovered that their injection drug, which was used by hemophiliacs, was contaminated with the HIV virus. Internal documents prove that after they positively knew that the drug was contaminated, they took it off the U.S. market only to dump it on the European, Asian and Latin American markets, knowingly exposing thousands, most of them children, to the live HIV virus.
   
  Government officials in France went to prison for allowing the drug to be distributed. The documents show that the FDA colluded with Bayer to cover-up the scandal and allowed the deadly drug to be distributed globally. No Bayer executives ever faced arrest or prosecution in the United States.
   
  In the UK, a 2007 outbreak of foot and mouth disease that put Britain on high alert has been originated from a government laboratory which is shared with an American pharmaceutical company, mirroring the deadly outbreak of 2001, which was also deliberately released.

Previous Swine Flu Outbreak Originated At Fort Dix!

  Mass vaccination program was halted after hundreds contracted debilitating nerve disease 
   
  Given the reports of the possibility of a swine flu epidemic, is interesting to note that last time there was a significant outbreak of a new form of swine flu in the U.S. it originated at the army base at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
   
  Hundreds of soldiers on the base, mostly recruits, were infected without becoming ill in 1976. President Gerald Ford immediately ordered a nationwide vaccination program.
   
  More than 40 million people were vaccinated. However, the program was stopped short after over 500 cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a severe paralyzing nerve disease, were reported. 30 people died as a direct result of the vaccinations.
   
  Unanswered questions regarding the outbreak remain to this day. According to a CDC investigation, It is not known why the virus did not extend beyond basic trainees or beyond the military base. The source of the virus, the exact time of its introduction into Fort Dix, and factors limiting its spread and duration remain unknown.

Spread of H5N1 Bird Flu in Egypt: Human To Human Transmission?

• I have been tracking the H5N1 outbreak in Egypt for some weeks. It appears to be very much less deadly but more virulent. The majority recovers from it without any problems. It seems to be infecting a lot of toddlers though. The good news is that all of these toddlers survived.
   
• Reuters reports (21 April 2009):
   
  CAIRO (Reuters) – A six-year-old Egyptian boy has died of the H5N1 bird flu virus, the 24th human fatality of the disease in Egypt, state news agency MENA said on Tuesday.
     
  Ali Mohamed Ali Somaa from Qalyubia died of respiratory failure, Egypt’s first bird flu fatality of 2009, MENA quoted a health ministry spokesman as saying. Somaahad been admitted to hospital in late March.
   
  The spokesman also said Ahmed Ramadan Kamal el-Din, a 4-year-old boy from Sohagprovince, had contracted bird flu and was in hospital. The boy was being treated with the antiviral drug Tamiflu.
   
  Kamal el-Din was admitted to hospital on Saturday suffering from fever after exposure to dead poultry suspected of having died of bird flu, MENA said. He is in stable condition.
   
  The new infection brings to 67 the number of bird flu cases in humans in the most populous Arab country, which has been hit harder by bird flu than any other country outside Asia.
   
  Egypt has seen a surge in human cases in recent months, with 16 confirmed since the start of the year, compared to seven cases between January 1 and April 17 last year.
   
  While the H5N1 avian influenza virus rarely infects people, experts say they fear it could mutate into a form that people could easily pass to one another, sparking a pandemic that could kill millions.
   
  Most infected Egyptians had come into contact with infected domestic birds in a country where roughly 5 million households depend on domestically raised poultry as a significant source of food and income.
   
  The World Health Organization said this month it was concerned some Egyptians may carry the bird flu virus without showing symptoms and this could give the virus more of a chance to mutate to a strain that spreads easily among humans.

  Hospitalized Brother of Kellin Toddler Raises Concerns in Egypt (21 April)
   
  Said Dr. Susan Abbasi – Director of Kafr El-Sheikh hospitaladmitted: that the hospital had received 8 cases of suspected SARS patients, including children, Amr Ibrahim Zidan – 5 years – the brother of Ibrahim al-Manar, which the girl child infected with the disease have been confirmed.
   
  Cases were 5 children and 3 women
   
  The above translation describes the hospitalization of the brother of the 66th confirmed H5N1 case in Egypt.  The siblings live in the village of Shabas Emier, which is in the Kellin district (see updated map ).  The 64th confirmed cases also lives in the Kellin district, raising the possibility of direct contact between these two cases, which were admitted to the Kafr El Sheikh hospital 8 days apart.
   
  However, the infections of two cases in the same small district signal a more efficient H5N1 transmission, increasing the likelihood that the brother is also infected.  Similarly, the clustering of suspect cases in the same hospital increases concerns that some or all of these cases will test positive, like 99% of the suspect cases in Egypt.
   
  These suspect cases are in addition to the 67th confirmed case which was announced today.  That case was in Sohag, where there have been no confirmed H5N1 poultry cases announced this year,
   
  The almost daily reports of confirmed H5N1 cases, as well as the potential expansion of the Kellin clusters, continue to increase concerns. 
   
  Data Supporting Enhanced Human H5N1 Transmission in Egypt – Recombinomics Commentary 16:50, April 21, 2009 
      
  That would be an alarming development, but other experts, including those at the World Health Organization, say such fears are exaggerated. Although thousands of Egyptians have rushed their children to hospitals this flu season, there is no evidence yet of asymptomatic avian flu cases or any significant mutation in the H5N1 virus.
   
  “Right now, it’s all hot air,” said Dr. Robert G. Webster, a flu expert at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. “I hope to hell it’s not happening, because it would mean the virus is adapting to humans. But there’s not a shred of data.”
   
  The above comments from Donald McNeil’s New York Times piece, “Avian Flu Cases in Egypt Raise Alarms,” include the control data that provides more than a “shred of data” for enhanced H5N1 transmisison because the confirmed cases are focused in toddlers between the ages of 1 ½ and 2 ½. The other children “rushed” to hospitals this year have tested negative. 
   
  There have been 15 confirmed H5N1 cases this year and 12 were children.  However, only one of the 12 was not a toddler.  Moreover, the 11 confirmed toddlers are almost double the 6 toddler confirmed in the past three years.  Thus, the frequency in each of the past three years was about 12%, while this year its 67% of confirmed cases. In addition, all have survived and most have had mild cases that did not produce pneumonia nor require ventilators.  Only one of the 11 toddlers had been in critical condition, and even when osletamivir treatment begins three to four days after the start of symptoms, as seen in the latest case, the case is still mild.
   
  These mild cases raise concerns that they may represents a small tip of a very large iceberg.  In the spring of 2007 there were also mild cases, when 16/17 patients survived.  However, the demographic was different.  16/17 of the cases were children between the ages of 3-10.  Thus, the change in demographic from children in the spring of 2007 to toddlers in 2009 is significant and represents real data.
   
  The concern of significant spread is also supported by the clustering of clusters.  The two cases (#61 and #62) identified at the beginning of this month were cousins and next door neighbors in Kom Hadash in Beheira.  The four day spread in disease onset date indicated the index case #61 infected his cousin, #62. 
   
  That cluster was followed by the formation of a similar cluster (case #64 and #66) in Kafr el Sheikh in a small district, Kellin. It remains unclear if these two cases were related or neighbors, but the two cases had disease onset dates separated by 8 days, and the cluster signals for efficient transmission of H5N1 to humans. 
   
  In addition, the other two cases this month (case #63 and #65) were from northern Cairo and admitted to the same hospital.  Treatment was delayed after admission, suggesting the patients denied poultry contact.
   
  Thus, the six most recent confirmed cases form three geographic clusters, signaling more efficient transmission of H5N1 to patients.  Moreover, none of the patients have died, although three were initially in critical condition, but none were toddlers.  The three toddlers in these cluster have mild cases and only the most recent case is still hospitalized.
   
  In addition to the epidemiological data, suggesting H5N1 infections are significantly higher than the confirmed cases, is the evidence for a genetic change.  Although there is no data supporting reassortment between human and avian flu genes, there is little reason to expect such data since there have been no prior reports, including dozens of H5N1 clusters signaling human to human transmission.

Australia Group: Institute 1 Child Policy & Reduce Population from 22M to 7M

• Reduce population from 22M to 7M? How? Why? Australia is almost as large as America and produces some of the best agricultural products in the world for exports. Why is this necessary? This is insane! 
   
  CANBERRA, April 24, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A population control pressure group has issued a call for the Australian government to institute a one-child policy to ensure the continent’s environmental and economic “sustainability.” Sustainable Population Australia (SPA) said this week that Australia’s 22 million people must be reduced to 7 million and that restricting each couple to one baby, as China does, is “one way of assisting to reduce the population” and avoiding “environmental suicide.”
   
  Speaking on the eve of Earth Day, the group’s national president, Sandra Kanck, a former Democrat politician, said a one-child policy is “something we need to throw into the mix.”
   
  Population increase, she said, means, “more cars on the road, more coal-fired electricity generated. It entails more houses and other consumer products. It uses more cement, energy and water which all results in more greenhouse gas emissions.”
   
  “Increasing the population is basically suicide, it’s environmental suicide, it’s utterly irresponsible,” Kanck said. “We are eating away at the planet, we are eating into all the resources, be it petrol, be it superphosphate, be it clear air.”
   
  SPA was founded in Canberra in 1988, and calls for the reduction of the human population to what it believes is a more environmentally manageable size. Ms. Kanck, who has one child herself, also called for the abolition of the government baby bonus for all children in a family after a couple’s first.
   
  Stephen Mosher, President of the Population Research Institute, responded to the proposal, saying that to suggest that Australia is overpopulated stretches the imagination. He told LifeSiteNews.com by email, “With only 22 million people scattered across nearly 3 million square miles of land, the dominant carnivore in many parts of the country is not man, but the dingo.”
   
  “The Radical Environmentalists in Australia, as everywhere else, think of people as a pestilence. They are determined to reduce their number, even if this means adopting China’s one-child policy, with its forced restrictions on birth. And even if this means destroying the economy, and condemning the elderly to a hand-to-mouth existence as the pension funds go belly up.”
   
  The Australian Democrats issued a media release distancing the party from Ms. Kanck’s comments. Australian Democrat David Winderlich said, “People might think that she’s speaking for the Democrats. She’s not.” He said, “We do have a population problem but a draconian one-child approach is not the solution.”
   
  The party’s statement said, “It is a core belief of the Australian Democrats that we must work together to find practical solutions to all our problems that do not infringe the right of Australians to choose how they want to live their lives.”
   
  Steve Mosher added that Australia’s most pressing “population problem,” is “too few people.” “I’m actually more than happy for the radical enviros to voluntarily adopt a one-child policy – they have, for the most part, already done so – but they shouldn’t try and impose it on the rest of us.”
   
  Mainland Australia is a country of just under 22 million inhabitants that spans an area of 7.7 million sq km, only slightly smaller than the 48 states of the mainland US with its 279.6 million people. The total land mass of the 27 member states of the European Union at 4.3 million sq. km, is considerably smaller than that of Australia, but has almost 500 million inhabitants.
   
  The median female age for Australia is 38.1 years and the country has a population growth rate of 1.195 per cent as of 2009. Australia’s overall fertility rate is well-below replacement level at 1.78 children born per woman, and the country relies heavily on immigration to maintain its population.
   
  In birth rate, however, Australia is already slightly ahead, in population-control terms, of the only country in the world that has a working and enforced one-child policy, the People’s Republic of China. China’s overall fertility rate is 1.79 children born per woman as of 2009, compared to Australia’s 1.78. China has a population growth rate below that of Australia, at 0.655 per cent, but this is likely due to restrictions on immigration into the communist country.
   
  Economics is one of SPA’s major arguments against more population growth. The group claims that population growth has negative economic effects including increased housing costs and lower wages and living standards. However, as one of the major western powers, Australia is also considerably ahead of China in quality of life, health and economic areas. Australia’s per capita GDP is estimated at (US) $47,400, compared with China’s estimated per-capita GDP between (US) $5,963 and $6,000.
   
  Despite Australia’s economic success, some have warned that population implosion is looming with the country’s shrinking birth rate and reliance on immigration to sustain its work force. Gail Instance, the head of Australia’s Family Life International, has said, “Common sense tells us that we are committing national suicide. We had better make up our minds about who we want to give this country to–since we don’t seem to want it ourselves.”
   
  George Cardinal Pell, the Catholic archbishop of Sydney, has warned that, “We need to start rethinking this [anti-natal] attitude if we want enough people around when we are old to care for us, pay taxes to support us, and if necessary, go to war to defend us.”

Possible Swine Flu Outbreak At NYC Prep School

  Department Of Health Officials Testing 75 Students At St. Francis Preparatory School In Queens, N.Y.
   
  As many as 75 students at St. Francis Preparatory School in Queens got sick on Thursday. More got sick on Friday. What health officials want to know is was it swine flu or something more benign.
     
  There are mounting fears about a deadly swine flu virus that is reported to have killed as many as 60 people in Mexico, one that health officials fear has already seeped into the United States.
   
  St. Francis Prep was ordered to cancel an evening program Friday night because the New York City Department of Health isn’t sure what made students sick Thursday and Friday with flu-like symptoms.
   
  “I just saw lot a lot of kids lined up along the wall near the nurse’s office,” sophomore Kelsey Dittmeir said. If it’s the flu, the question is what kind of flu? And could it be the unique strain suspected in 20 recent deaths?
   
  Tests are underway. “It could be a strain we’ve seen before. It could be the regular flu,” Dr. Ross Weiss said. “It could be flu B that happens late in the year. It could be any of those so we really can’t speculate at this point. That’s why we were very anxious to get samples to the lab and get them tested so we can find out what we are dealing with.”
   
  If it’s the new strain of swine flu it could be a problem. Most cases have been reported in Mexico, where schools, museums and public gathering places have been closed.
   
  Eight patients have also turned up in California and Texas, although their symptoms have been mild. Students told CBS station WCBS-TV they plan on getting tested over the weekend. One senior we spoke to said she left school Thursday before her fellow classmates got ill.
   
  “My chest just hurts and I have shortness of breath. My ears were hurting me earlier but they are okay now. My head is still in and out,” Noel Alexandria said.
   
  Added Dr. Weiss: “There were people tonight interviewing students and we’ll be here tomorrow. And when we get the test results that will dictate what our next steps are.”
   
  The city hopes to identify those symptoms as flu it has seen before. If the tests come back negative they will be sent down to the Centers for Disease Control. So far, officials have been told all the cases have shown mild symptoms.

  An Advanced Biowar Event That Will Be Bigger Than 9/11
  On 23 rd April 2009 the world began to become aware of a very strange new version of swine flu H1N1 in Mexico with limited cases in Texas and California. By the morning of the 24th of April, we began to hear that there were hundreds of sick and 20 or so dead. By late in the day, we have learned that over 1,000 are now reported ill and over 60 are reported dead. There are solid reasons to suspect that this new Mexican Swine Flu is NOT a naturally occurring event but instead is an Advanced Biological Warfare recombination DNA genetically engineered virus.
   
  Here is what we know of the virus so far. This virus has already gone international having crossed the border from Mexico to America. All schools in Mexico City have been canceled, millions of students told to stay home due to Mexican Swine Flu. Sick victims of this strange new virus are currently reported in California and Texas. Over 60 deaths reported in Mexico (could be substantially higher considering the state of Mexican health care and reporting).
   
  Young healthy adults seem to be the most at risk. This is similar to the deadest killer flu in history, Spanish Flu in 1918. Most if not all nations with advanced biological warfare programs have been interested in recreating the Spanish Flu DNA sequence and several are reported to have done so.
   
  The new Mexican Swine Flu has elements of DNA from the following: avian flu, human flu Type A, human flu Type B, Asian swine flu, and European swine flu. A strange combination never seen before and having less than 1/10% chance of being a natural event. Human and animal viruses from four or more continents suddenly recombine in a new flu during a non-flu season that spreads from human-to-human with a 10% fatality rating.
   
  Over 1,000 reported infected in Mexico; true rate may be much higher. Mexico City seems to be the epicenter of the new virus. Mexico City has 20 million citizens, most terribly poor. Mexico City is notorious for its poor sanitation and public health. “Don’t drink the water” has been the byword in Mexico City for decades. It is the perfect breading ground for an explosive growth of this new killer virus. Mexico City has closed all schools, public gatherings, public buildings. People are wearing medical masks on the streets. The government has announced a massive new emergency swine flu vaccination program that will be, at best, either totally non-effective or of very limited effect, and could be, at worst, a deadly option for patients. It is thought that the authorities are trying to contain public panic by announcing the vaccination program.
   
  Both the World Health Organization and the US CDC (Center for Disease Control) have announced, today/24th April, that they are ‘very concerned’ about a global pandemic developing out of this new disease. Based on advanced biowargaming projections, it is already too late to stop the global spread of this new killer disease. Based on the three waves of Spanish Flu, the latter ones being more lethal, fatality rates may range from approximately 10% to 40% or so in later waves. More people could die in America, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and globally from Mexican Swine Flu than died in World War II.
   
  This new flu is a lab created advanced biological warfare DNA genetically engineered virus that either: (1) Escaped accidentally from a lab; or (2) was deliberately released by a nation or non-state organization or a well-trained individual.
   
  If there is a positive side to this coming global disaster, it may force governments to quickly come to grips with containing advanced biowar attacks. This is of considerable short term importance as Israel is apt to attack Iran by no later than mid-July 2009. The Iranians, having hired a large number of key ex-Soviet advanced biowar scientists 18 years ago and having spent billions on their asymmetrical MAD (mutually assured destruction) counter-force, are expected to respond to any significant attack on Iran with a biowar attack on Israel, North America, and Europe using in-place agents and dozens of genetically engineered viruses, many with very high projected kill rates.
   
  This event is an advanced biological warfare event. It is far more important than 9/11 and, by itself, could bring deaths in such magnitudes as to exceed the number of deaths from all causes in the Second World War.

The 1918 Spanish flu which killed an estimated 40 million worldwide is also of the H1N1 strain.   Mexico swine flu deaths spur global epidemic fears
  A unique strain of swine flu is the suspected killer of dozens of people in Mexico, where authorities closed schools, museums, libraries and theaters in the capital on Friday to try to contain an outbreak that has spurred concerns of a global flu epidemic.
   
  The worrisome new virus — which combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans in a way researchers have not seen before — also sickened at least eight people in Texas and California, though there have been no deaths in the U.S.
   
  US ‘very concerned’ about swine flu outbreak
  US medical authorities expressed strong concern Friday about an unprecedented multi-strain swine flu outbreak that has killed at least 60 people in Mexico and infected seven people in the United States.
   
  “It’s very obvious that we are very concerned. We’ve stood up emergency operation centers,” Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) spokesman Dave Daigle told AFP. One major source of concern was that the virus included strains from different types of flu. 
   
  Swine Flu, Mexico Lung Illness Heighten Pandemic Risk
  April 24 (Bloomberg) — Disease trackers are asking U.S. hospitals to help follow a new strain of swine flu and are trying to determine whether it’s related to hundreds of illnesses and 57 deaths in Mexico.
   
  A previously unseen variant of H1N1 swine influenza has sickened at least seven people in California and Texas, the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said yesterday. The World Health Organization said 57 people died among more than 800 in the Mexico City region who developed flu-like symptoms in the past month.
   
  Canadian lab confirms human swine flu cases in Mexico
  The national laboratory in Winnipeg has confirmed human swine influenza virus in clinical specimens sent from Mexico for testing, Canada’s health minister said Friday. “Today we have received … results which confirm that the virus is human swine influenza,” Leona Aglukkaq told a press conference in Ottawa.
   
  Mexico sent 51 specimens for testing to Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory on Wednesday. Sixteen positives of swine flu were found among the samples, according to a source who spoke to The Canadian Press news agency. Mexican Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova said Friday that 20 people were killed in the outbreak and 1,004 were infected throughout the country, prompting the World Health Organization to convene an emergency meeting Saturday.
   
  New Strain Of Swine Flu – Influenza A H1N1
  I would love to see a comparison of the Spanish Flu A H1N1 genome compared to the Influenza A H1N1 new strain flu discussed below. As you know a more severe type of respiratory virus has broken out in Mexico. Could this be 1918 all over again? 
   
  Remember, during the first wave of the Spanish Flu, it was called the three-day flu because the symptoms were not severe. At first, that is. As the virus infected more and more people it began to mutate more readily. The second, and third waves the virus was extremely virulent and deadly.   
   
  Are we seeing the early wave of a new strain of H1N1, similar to H1N1 Spanish Flu? Epidemiological reports will be very important, especially in researching the age of those who became infected and died. Traditionally, in seasonal flu those over 65 have a greater mortality, however in pandemic flu we see people who are healthy and young who have the greatest mortality. 
   
  Just because the San Diego children had a “three day type of flu” i.e. a mild case of Influenza does not indicate that we are not facing a soon to be pandemic strain of H1N1.

China Reveals Big Rise in Gold Reserves

• People who say that gold is a relic of the past and is only good for jewellery do not understand that gold is money throughout history. Gold is about to rally to US$1250-1320/ounce soon. Financial Times reports:
   
  China has quietly almost doubled its gold reserves to become the world’s fifth-biggest holder of the precious metal, it emerged on Friday, in a move that signals the revival of bullion after years of fading importance.
   
  Gold rose to a three-week high of more than $910 an ounce after Hu Xiaolian, head of the secretive State Administration of Foreign Exchange, which manages the country’s $1,954bn in foreign exchange reserves, revealed China had 1,054 tonnes of gold, up from 600 tonnes in 2003.
   
  The news could spark interest in gold among other central banks. “When the largest holder of foreign exchange reserves discloses an increase in gold holdings, other countries may decide to think more carefully about underweight gold positions,” said John Reade, a precious metals strategist at UBS.
   
  The increase in China’s gold reserves has come primarily from domestic production and refining. However, the news raises questions about the future of Beijing’s foreign reserves policy.
   
  Ahead of the G20 summit in London this month, China suggested global reliance on the US dollar as a reserve currency should be reduced. China has been diversifying away from the dollar since 2005, when it broke the renminbi’s peg to the US currency and officially marked it to a basket of currencies, but it still holds more than two-thirds in US dollar-denominated assets by most estimates.
   
  As its trade surplus and forex reserves ballooned in recent years, Beijing continued to buy huge amounts of US Treasury bonds while raising the proportion of purchases it allotted to other currencies and to gold. China’s accumulation of gold has taken place as European central banks have gradually cut back back gold sales following a 1999 agreement to prevent the market from being flooded after prices were dragged sharply lower after the UK decided to sell part of its reserves.
   
  “China’s announcement signals a broader shift in central banks’ attitude towards gold,” said Philip Klapwijk, chairman of GFMS, the precious metal consultancy. Suki Cooper, a gold analyst at Barclays Capital, said China’s move was “reigniting gold’s relevance as a monetary asset”. …

  China’s forex reserves grew from $623bn at the start of 2005 to $1,906bn at the end of September last year but in the last six months the spectacular growth has slowed to a virtual stop, with reserves rising by just $7.7bn (€5.8bn, £5.2bn) in the first quarter. That means smaller new purchases of everything from US Treasuries to gold.
   
  Paul Atherley, Beijing-based managing director of Leyshon Resources, said that even after the latest purchases China had a very small percentage of its reserves in gold, far below the US or other developed countries. “Those [gold] holdings are still too low in terms of the size of its economy and the growing significance of its currency,” he said.
   
  The announcement boosted gold prices to a three week high above $910 an ounce as investors bet other countries could follow. Russia has being an active buyer, following Beijing’s similar pattern of purchases from local miners. China became last year the world’s largest producer of gold, outranking South Africa.

Deadly New Flu Strain Erupts in Mexico and U.S.

• I have been tracking this new strain of H1N1 swine flu for a few weeks now. Initial reports indicate that practically all who caught it in Texas and California recovered. What was not apparent previously was its linkage to the strain in Mexico where many have died.
   
• Some people say that the 1918 H1N1 flu also started as a 3 day flu ie people recovered by the 3rd day. And then it morphed and became very deadly. Reuters reports :
    
  MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – A strain of flu never seen before has killed up to 60 people in Mexico and also appeared in the United States, where eight people were infected but recovered, health officials said on Friday.
   
  Mexico’s government said at least 20 people have died of the flu and it may also be responsible for 40 other deaths. It shut down schools and canceled major public events in Mexico City to try to prevent more deaths in the sprawling, overcrowded capital. Authorities said they had enough antiviral medicine to treat about 1,000 suspected cases reported so far.
   
  The World Health Organization said tests showed the virus from 12 of the Mexican patients was the same genetically as a new strain of swine flu, designated H1N1, seen in eight people in California and Texas.
   
  “Our concern has grown as of yesterday,” Dr. Richard Besser, acting director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told reporters in a telephone briefing.
   
  Global health officials were not ready to declare a pandemic — a global epidemic of a new and deadly disease such as flu. “So far there has not been any change in the pandemic threat level,” Besser said.
   
  But the human-to-human spread of the new virus raised fears of a major outbreak. Mexico’s government suspended classes for millions of children in Mexico City, where scared residents rushed out to buy face masks and kept their kids at home.

  Close analysis showed the disease is a mixture of swine, human and avian viruses, according to the CDC. Humans can occasionally catch swine flu from pigs but rarely have they been known to pass it on to other people. Mexico reported 1,004 suspected cases of the new virus, including four possible cases in Mexicali on the border with California.
   
  Most of the dead were aged between 25 and 45, a health official said. It was a worrying sign as seasonal flu can be more deadly among the very young and the very old but a hallmark of pandemics is that they affect healthy young adults.
   
  Health Minister Jose Angel Cordova said Mexico has enough antiviral drugs to combat the outbreak for the moment. “In the last 20 hours, fewer serious cases of this disease and fewer deaths have been reported,” he told reporters.
   
  The WHO said the virus appears to be susceptible to Roche’s flu drug Tamiflu, also known as oseltamivir, but not to older flu drugs such as amantadine.
   
  NO CONTAINMENT
  Canada has not reported any cases of the flu and is not issuing a travel warning for Mexico, but the country’s chief public health officer David Butler-Jones said the outbreak was “very concerning” and Canada was paying close attention.
   
  The CDC’s Besser said it was probably too late to contain the outbreak. “There are things that we see that suggest that containment is not very likely,” he said. Once it has spread beyond a limited geographical area it would be difficult to control.  
   
  But there is no reason to avoid Mexico, CDC and the WHO said. “CDC is not recommending any additional recommendations for travellers to California, Texas and Mexico,” Besser said. Worldwide, seasonal flu kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people in an average year, but the flu season for North America should have been winding down.
   
  The U.S. government said it was closely following the new cases. “The White House is taking the situation seriously and monitoring for any new developments. The president has been fully briefed,” an administration official said.
   
  In California, where six people have been infected with the flu, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said authorities were monitoring patients with flu-like symptoms and communicating with Mexican health officials. Mexico’s government cautioned people not to shake hands or kiss when greeting or to share food, glasses or cutlery. Flu virus can be spread on the hands, and handwashing is one of the most important ways to prevent its spread.
   
  The outbreak jolted residents of the Mexican capital, one of the world’s biggest cities with around 20 million residents. One pharmacy ran out of surgical face masks after selling 300 in a day.
   
  The virus is an influenza A virus, carrying the designation H1N1. It contains DNA from avian, swine and human viruses, including elements from European and Asian swine viruses, said the CDC, which is already working on a vaccine.
   
  Scientists were trying to understand why there are so many deaths in Mexico when the infections in the United States seem mild, Besser said.

Germany’s Slump Risks ‘Explosive’ Mood as Second Banking Crisis Looms!

  A clutch of political and labour leaders in Germany have raised the spectre of civil unrest after the country’s leading institutes forecast a 6pc contraction of gross domestic product this year, a slump reminiscent of 1931 and bad enough to drive unemployment to 4.7m by 2010. 
   
  Michael Sommer, leader of the DGB trade union federation, called the latest wave of sackings a “declaration of war” against Germany’s workers. “Social unrest can no longer be ruled out,” he said. 
    
  Gesine Swann, presidential candidate for the Social Democrats, said “the mood could turn explosive” over the next three months unless the government takes drastic action.

  Swiss risk advisers Independent Credit View said a “second wave” of debt stress is likely to hit the UK and Europe this year as the turmoil moves from mortgage securities to old-fashioned bank loans. A detailed “stress test” of 17 lenders worldwide found that European banks have much lower reserve cushions than US banks, leaving them acutely vulnerable to the coming phase of rising defaults. “The biggest risk is in Europe,” said Peter Jeggli, Credit View’s founder.

  “The Americans are ahead of the curve. European banks are exposed to US commercial real estate and to problems in Eastern Europe and Spain, where the situation is turning dramatic. We think the Spanish savings banks are basically bust and will need a government bail-out,” said Mr Jeggli.

  Europe’s banks are exposed to a hydra-headed set of bubbles. They not only face heavy losses from US property, they also face collapsing credit booms in their own backyard and fallout from high levels of corporate debt in the eurozone.
   
  Mr Jeggli said the financial crisis was “front-loaded” in the Anglo-Saxon countries and Switzerland because their banks invested heavily in credit securities. As tradeable instruments, these suffered a cliff-edge fall when trouble began, forcing harsh write-downs under mark-to-market rules.
   
  It takes longer for damage to surface with Europe’s traditional bank loans, which buckle later in the cycle as defaults rise. The ferocity of Europe’s recession leaves no doubt that losses will be huge this time.

  As the world financial and economic crisis comes into its own, the Western political leaders and elites are seeking to impress on mankind the idea that this upheaval will end up ‘turning the world into something different’.
   
  Even though the picture of the ‘new world order’ remains vague and fuzzy, the main idea is quite clear: A single global government, goes the argument, has to be established if we don’t want general chaos to prevail.
   
  Every now and again, Western politicians mention the need for a ‘new world order’, a ‘new world financial architecture’, or some kind of ‘supranational control’, calling it a ‘New Deal’ for the world. Nicolas Sarkozy was the first to say so, while addressing the UN General Assembly in September 2007 (that is, before the crisis).
   
  During the February 2009 meeting in Berlin convened to prepare the G20 summit, this was echoed by Gordon Brown, who said that a worldwide New Deal was needed. We are conscious, he added, that where the world financial flows were concerned, we would not be able to emerge from this situation with the help of purely national authorities alone. We need the authorities and world watchdogs to make the activities of financial institutions operating in the world markets totally open to us. Both Sarkozy and Brown are protégés of the Rothschilds. Statements made by certain representatives of ‘the global elite’ indicate that the current crisis is being used as a mechanism for provoking some deepening social upheavals that would make mankind – plunged as it is already into chaos and frightened by the ghost of an all-out violence – urge of its own free will that a ‘supranational’ arbitrator with dictatorial powers intervene into the world affairs.
     
  The events are following the same path as the Great Depression in 1929-1933: a financial crisis, an economic recession, social conflicts, establishing totalitarian dictatorships, inciting a war to concentrate power, and capital in the hands of a narrow circle. This time, however, the case in point is the final stage in the ‘global control’ strategy, where a decisive blow should be dealt to the national state sovereignty institution, followed by a transition to a system of private power of transnational elites.
   
  As early as the late 1990s, David Rockefeller, author of the idea of private power that is due to replace the governments, said that we (the world) were on the threshold of global changes. All we need, he went on, is some large-scale crisis that will make people accept the new world order.
   
  Jacques Attali, Sarkozy’s adviser and former EBRD chief, claimed that the elites had been incapable of dealing with the currency problems of the 1930s. He was afraid, he said, that a similar mistake would be made again. At first we’ll wage wars, he went on, and let 300 million people perish. After that reforms will follow and a world government. Shouldn’t we better think about a world government already at this stage, he asked?

  The world is being led to accept the “new order” idea step by step to avoid provoking events that are likely to make the universal protests against the worsening conditions of human existence take ‘a wrong course’ and become uncontrolled. The main thing that Stage One managed to achieve was to start a wide-ranging discussion on ‘global government’ and the ‘inadmissibility of protectionism’ with an emphasis on the ‘hopelessness’ of the national-state models for emerging from the crisis.
   
  This discussion is proceeding against the background of information pressures that help to build up human anxieties, fear, and uncertainty. Some of those information actions are the following: WTO forecasts to the effect that 1.4 billion people are likely to sink below the poverty line in 2009; a warning by the WTO director general that the biggest world trade slide in postwar history is in the offing; a statement by the IMF’s Dominique Strauss-Kohn (a protégé of Sarkozy’s) that a world economic crash is impending unless a large-scale reform of the financial sector of the world economy is implemented, and a crash that is most likely to bring in its wake not only social unrest but also a war.
   
  Against this background, the idea to introduce a common world currency as a cornerstone of the ‘new world order’ was put forward. The real masterminds of this long-standing project are as yet in the shadow. Let us note that some or other representatives of Russia are pushed to the fore. This is reminiscent of the situation before World War I, where the Anglo-French circles that possessed some well-elaborated plans for a new division of the world instructed the Russian Foreign Minister to draw up a general program for the Entente Cordiale. It went down in history as the ‘Sazonov program’, even though Russia did not play an independent role in that war and was from the start built into the system of interests of the British financial elite.

  On March 25, Moskovsky Komsomolets published an article ‘The Crisis and the World Problems’, by Gavriil Popov (currently President of the International Union of Economists) that openly voiced what was normally discussed behind closed doors.
   
  The article mentioned World Parliament, World Government, World Armed Forces, World Police Force, World Bank, the necessity of placing under international control the nuclear weapons, nuclear power generating capacities, the entire amount of space rocket technology, and the planet’s minerals, the imposition of birth-rate limits, the cleansing of humanity’s gene pool, the fostering of people intolerant to cultural and religious incompatibility, and the like.
   
  The “countries that will not accept the global prospects,” says Popov, “must be expelled from the world community.”
   
  Of course, the Moskovsky Komsomolets article conveys nothing new that would enable one to understand the strategy of the global elite. Another thing is important. The establishment of a totalitarian police order and the elimination of national states is being suggested as an open program of action, and what both the liberals, and the socialists, and the conservatives always viewed as ‘new fascism’ is being recommended as the only possible salutary path for the whole of mankind. Someone wants the discussing of these projects to become a norm. ……
   
  The G20 did not discuss the common world currency issue, since time had not yet come for that. The summit itself was a step forward on the way to chaos, because its decisions, if followed blindly, will only worsen the world socioeconomic situation and, to quote Lyndon LaRouche, will “finish off the patient.”
   
  In the meantime, the crisis is being exacerbated, and analysts are predicting an era of mass-scale unemployment. …. this is not seen by the mid-level leaders, while the top-level world managers are, on the contrary, informed quite well; it is they who are implementing the ‘controlled chaos’ and general disintegration policy, including a civil war and the disintegration of the United States planned for the end of 2009, a scenario that is being widely discussed both by American and world media. 
   
  On the threshold of conflicts planned in various areas of the planets, a system is being established that will give a supranational center relying on a large-scale punitive machine total political, military, legal, and electronic control over the population. That system uses the network management principle that allows embedding into any society parallel structures of authority that report to external decision-making centers and are legalized through the doctrine of prevalence of international law over national law. The shell remains national, while real power becomes transnational. Jacques Attali calls this a ‘global law-based state’.

  The American system of police control is actively implemented in other countries, primarily in Europe – through the establishment of American law hegemony on its territory by means of closing various agreements. A big part here was played by US–European talks out of the glare of publicity on creation of the common ‘area of control over the population’ that were held in spring 2008, when the European Parliament adopted resolution that ratified creation of the single transatlantic market abolishing all barriers to trade and investments by 2015. The talks resulted in the classified report prepared by the experts from six participating countries. Bailed Out Banks Too Big to Survive !

• Are the problems in the financial sector over? Have all the multiple bailouts solved the crisis? I don’t think so. Anyone who thinks we are close to the end of this depression is naive. We are barely beginning. We are at the early stage of, easily, a decade long depression. The world has changed since the crisis began. The American empire is ending. Although many say: China and Asia will rise and become the next empire, I am not so sure. It is too simplistic. We will probably go into a period of war or wars.. World War 3 ???

  On April 20th, Bank of America announced a first quarter surge in earnings to $4.2 billion. At first blush, it looked like the kind of news that would ignite a stock market rally. Instead, the Dow closed down 289 points. Could it be that, despite the apparent good news, investors don’t trust the banks or the economy?
   
  In recent months, the Administration has poured billions of dollars into those banks that it has deemed “too big to fail”. B of A alone received some $45 billion. Perhaps now it is time to examine whether the liabilities of these same banks make them, conversely, too big to survive.
   
  Importantly, B of A’s sale of China Construction Bank, a much-prized future earner, resulted in a one-time-only earnings contribution of $1.9 billion, or 45 percent of their just posted quarterly profit figure.
   
  In addition, $2.2 billion in gains were contributed by certain mark-to-market bank “adjustments” to Merrill Lynch’s structured notes. These gains appear to be the result of recent changes in the accounting rules that now allow banks to “officially” inflate the value of toxic assets and thereby erase billions of dollars of paper losses.
   
  In short, the so-called surge in the earnings of Bank of America had little to do with real, repeatable earnings, and much to do with sales of promising assets and accounting gimmickry.

  American investors are becoming increasingly aware of internal flaws in our economy. Ignoring Administration and Wall Street entreaties to continue spending, consumers are deleveraging and saving cash. There is evidence that Americans are staying at home more, especially for eating and entertainment, and are undertaking more do-it-yourself repairs. Airlines, movie theaters, and restaurants are all experiencing reduced turnover. After a year of bad economic news, Americans are less susceptible to rosy financial reporting from discredited banks.
   
  Already, U.S. unemployment stands officially at 8.7 percent. However, if it is calculated by the pre-Clinton method to include those who have been unemployed for longer than one year, those who have been forced to accept part-time employment, and those who have given up seeking re-employment, the figure stands at 19.2 percent, or just 0.8 percent below Great Depression levels!
   
  The outlook for both corporate and individual loan defaults is appalling. Already, mortgage defaults are exploding. They now extend to the commercial sector and into the retail prime and jumbo mortgage markets.

The greatly undercapitalized banks face huge increases in loan defaults in almost every sector, which will deplete future earnings and further threaten capital solvency.
   
  But all this is dwarfed by the exposure of the major money center banks to the vast $418 trillion American share of the derivatives markets and, in particular, to the risks posed by counterparty defaults in so-called Credit Default Swaps. These are massive in relation to the banks’ capital reserves.
   
  For example, the combined capital of just five of the top 14 largest American banks would be overexposed to derivative default risk by between 200 and 1,000 times. Up to now, this shocking figure was largely concealed or deliberately ignored by politicians and Wall Street analysts, who were naturally frightened by what they saw.
   
  Despite this financial minefield, the stock prices of financials have rallied strongly. Perversely, many seemingly high risk companies like Citigrouphave seen their shares climb by over 100 percent from their lows, while those with little debt have underperformed by some 50 percent.
   
  One reason for this strange market behavior may be the perception that the money center banks are “too big to fail” and will be bailed out by taxpayers. In reality, however big the banks, even with government guarantees, the problems they face appear too big to survive.

Bank Sector Positive Earnings Reports- It’s Time to Face the Facts!

• Just how genuine are all these 1Q2009 bank profit reports? Are we heading for a recovery? The stock market seems to think so. It has rallied close to 30% since the low of about 6470. Mike Stathis reports :
   
  For anyone who believes any positive earnings reports from the banks, you probably also believe there will be a real recovery in the economy. These “earnings” are even less credible than those reported by the banks during the height of their Ponzi scheme in 2007. Earnings? From the banks? It’s laughable. Let me now state what I consider to be facts related to the bigger picture of this economic fiasco.
   
  Fact #1. All Major Banks Are Insolvent.
  This has been true now for over a year. It remains true despite the Treasury and Fed already having pumped in over $13 trillion in the form of loans or guarantees into the financial system; just over the past twelve months alone. But this is still insufficient. Several trillions more will be needed, and much of this will be lost forever.

  Even Treasury Secretary Geithner (the Federal Reserve’s inside man) insists the banks need an additional $2 trillion. So what’s the message he’s sending? He’s saying the banks are insolvent. But of course he isn’t stating this publicly. He’s afraid to state the obvious because he, like so many others in Washington have been fed the myth that the current economic blowout is mainly due to a lack of confidence. So he doesn’t want to make people panic by telling them the banks are insolvent.

  Despite the media’s abandonment from these issues, I can assure you they are still very big problems. The derivatives exposure of the top five U.S. banks is beyond scary when you look at the official data from the Office of the Comptroller of Currency. And when you consider the fact that these numbers are reported on a voluntary basis, the possibilities for further disaster become much more frightening.
   
  Even the latest discussion by Geithner and Summers to convert the TARP loans to common stock is only delaying the inevitable; a complete nationalization of the banks.  The longer they remain in denial, the more money they’ll keep tossing into the bottomless pit; and the worse things will get. Nationalization is the only possible remedy. Washington is going to learn this the hard way; at our expense.

  Fact #2. We Are Witnessing the Largest Theft in World History.
  The U.S. banking cartel (GS, BAC, C and JPM) is engaging in the biggest scam in world history by covering up toxic assets and inflating the valuation of this junk. That is specifically why Obama’s “Dream Team” consists of many of the same individuals responsible for the world’s biggest Ponzi scheme.
   
  First we have Tim Geithner, noted tax cheat and Paulson’s right-hand man during the Bush administration. As a reward for his loyalty to Wall Street, Geithner was promoted to become Larry Summers’ right-hand man. Recall that Geithner was not only responsible for the Bear Stearns heist, he was also the principal architect of the TARP. As I warned last year, the most detrimental effect of TARP wouldn’t be the $770 billion check of misappropriated funds, but the fact that it would commence the sign-off of a blank check for the financial industry. This is exactly what has occurred. 
   
  Second, the guy who is really making all of the economic decisions – Larry Summers – is arguably the single most responsible individual accounting for the severity of the economic fallout. While Alan Greenspan fueled the engine of financial destruction, Summers designed it.   And of course Geithner is a protégé of both Summers and Rubin. But we must also remember that Geithner was the President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. As I have stated many times in the past, the banking cartel owns the Federal Reserve. That is specifically why these banks have been given a blank check to buy up smaller banks; banks which in most cases are no more insolvent than the members of this dangerous cartel.
   
  So hopefully you now understand why Geithner was appointed Treasury Secretary, despite being guilty (although given immunity) of blatant tax fraud. He is naïve. He is a “yes man” who takes orders from Summers. And he’s proven that he’ll act in the best interests of the banking cartel. Why would you expect anything else from Geithner? As former president of the New York Fed, he’s an insider from the cartel. Thus, with Geithner at the helm of the U.S. Treasury, the interests of the banking cartel are well-protected. The problem is that Summers, Geithner and the rest of the mob ultimately won’t be able to save the banks without destroying America.
   
  In the meantime, the FDIC and OTC can’t touch the banking cartel despite their insolvency because the cartel owns and controls the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury.  Despite the claims made that the FDIC is an independent insurance organization for the banks, the fact is that it is part of the U.S Treasury. That is specifically why they are drawing from the reserves of the Treasury; from your tax dollars.
   
  Recent changes to mark-to-market accounting will further aid in the illusion of bank earnings. But you cannot hide forever. And at some point, things are really going to get ugly when reality surfaces. As I said several months ago, if you think this is bad “you ain’t seen nuthin yet.”
   
  Several generations of taxpayers are already on the hook for trillions of dollars handed out to these banks because Obama and his pro-Wall Street staff have convinced the public that they know what they’re doing. Sure they do. They’re pulling off the biggest heist of all time.  
   
  Fact #3. There is NO Escaping the Depression.
  All throughout this scam, Washington’s economic “gurus’ have used scare tactics to justify the passage of blank checks to the banks. And yes, they’ll keep spending until they get what they want; signs of a recovery. They won’t care that it will be a phantom recovery. It’s a political maneuver aimed at gaining momentum for Obama’s second term election.
   
  They will keep lying and acting recklessly, but they won’t be able to avert a depression. America’s next Great Depression is already here. If you don’t realize this then you simply have no idea what’s going on. If that’s the case, you probably rely on the mainstream media for your information.
   
  In fact, the arcane and incompetent approaches used by Washington and the Fed are going to make the depression much worse and last much longer. Supplying the banks with capital we don’t have is like stabbing an open wound and claiming you will prevent the bleeding. While the initial effect may appear to be improvement, it’s only going to cause more bleeding. Meanwhile, the banks continue to hoard bailout capital, lobby for more bailout money and increase rates for credit cards, ATM fees and other malicious activities aimed at screwing consumers. It’s beyond astounding. Just how much abuse can you take?
   
  The real solution is to purge the system of the trash and start anew. The Federal Reserve does not want to take this approach. And Washington follows their lead. They didn’t want to take it after the dotcom collapse, and that’s why we’re in this mess. Consider the consequences of trying to mask the real problems. There’s going to be a much bigger catastrophe down the road. I’ll guarantee it. It may manifest differently, but the impact will be more devastating to consumers either in severity or duration; perhaps both. And the media goes along with this deception by not allowing credible experts to challenge the views of these hacks. In the end, the media dictates what your perception of reality is, thinking they can alter reality. This is why you must ban the media just as they have banned me.
   
  Rather than use real data, they quote data manipulated by Washington. Rather than make objective and rational conclusions, the media plasters its hand-selected group of “experts” who use simpleton arguments to explain why we won’t have a depression. As the records show, they’ve all been wrong from the beginning. All they’ve done is denied and downplayed everything, while issuing countless revisions week after week, month after month. This is not forecasting; it’s a method used to hide the truth. Most likely, this deception and denial has already destroyed a good portion of your livelihood.
   
  All of the statements made by Bernanke, Paulson, Geithner and the economists of the round table have one thing in common. They’ve all been grossly wrong. According to them, problems in real estate “would not be severe” and “would not spill over to the economy.” According to them, the banks were “fine” and there would be “no bailouts.” The only thing they’ve shown is that they cannot and should not be trusted. The fact is that the only inflation that really matters is rising; inflation for basic necessities like food, energy and healthcare. And when this bailout bonanza catches up with the dollar, inflation is going to rival the early ‘80s; perhaps even surpass it. It is likely that Washington will then intentionally escalate inflation as a way to help pay off what will be an insurmountable national debt.

  Fact #4. There Will Be No Real Recovery for 90% of Americans.
  Washington officials, the Fed, and pundits keep referring to a recovery. The fact is that there will be no real recovery. Sure, there will ultimately be a relative improvement from the depressionary period we are facing.  However, this will be more of a cyclical artifact based exclusively on the wasteful spending of taxpayer dollars. It will be another illusion orchestrated by the Fed and their subordinate, the U.S. Treasury.
   
  And yes, the market will advance as a result of this inflationary economic policy. However, it will be short-lived. Thereafter, the market is likely to fall below 6000 when reality sets in; perhaps even below 5000. The only recovery will be for those who stand to benefit from this epic fraud; the wealthy. The game is being played the way it always has, just on a much larger scale this time.
   
  So if you are counting on a real economic recovery, don’t get your hopes up; at least not for America; not unless you are very wealthy. The wealth and income lost by the working class have been and will continue to be transferred to America’s wealthy and developing nations like China and Brazil – all compliments of Washington’s free trade policies. You need to become very frugal and stay that way. No more buying the latest gadgets. No more buying a new car every four years.   Finally, I urge you to minimize your dependence on banks; not just now, but forever. While it may cause an inconvenience, it will be well worth it. Banks are the most insidious enemy of American consumers. I don’t think I need to convince you of that.
